(Ready to be Graded)

Hello all.

Apparently my traps were too big for a TE and the balls kept bouncing off of them, so it is with this news that I am excited to bring my new position swap: middle linebacker!

I hope to answer all of your questions today (mostly about my traps), and I'm excited for my first season on defense.

1) Of all the linebacker positions, why middle linebacker?

I'd get to better utilize my skillset as a receiver as a middle linebacker, as well as assisting with pre-snap adjustments.

2) With your knowledge of the tight end position, what strategies and techniques would you employ as a linebacker to inhibit opposing tight ends?

One of the important things I've learned as a tight-end is the use of release moves, which I'd definitely use to prepare myself off the line. It's easier for me to identify "tells" that I've identified in myself and others in past locker rooms, so I'd exploit those tells to try and figure out the motion of the play. By far my favorite skill that I learned as a tight-end (and will employ as an LB) is what I call the "no-call tickle."

3) What type of door is your favorite?

Pivot doors, easily.

4) What's your favorite movie involving parents?

Big Momma's House 2; only because it is my favorite movie, and there were parents in a few scenes.

5) What's your favorite Venusian plant?

Unfortunately, I'm a Mercurial flower type of boy.

6) What's your favorite movie starring Sean Connery and Catherine Zeta-Jones?

Such a clever question, I'll have to use this next weekend for Margarita Night down in Birmingham.

7) What is your favorite shape?

This may paint me as basic, but definitely the rhombicosidodecahedron.

Thank you for coming to my presser. I'm excited for my career in this league, and I'll see you all at the top!
