HIRED: Appeals Team Member - Attopax - 06-15-2022
Appeals Team is seeking a currently unknown number of individuals to be a part of the team in order for us to potentially see if there is a better, immaculate, magical, number than our current immaculate, magical, number of seven (7) members.
The Appeals Team is an *unpaid* position, and, therefore, seeks active individuals looking to volunteer their time and energy to the league. As a reminder, the Appeals Team's job is to listen to appeals to punishments and rulebook interpretations handed down by Head Office and make recommendations to Head Office as to whether they are congruent with the rules and prior enforcement actions. This involves looking at the facts and arguments as presented from the parties and researching prior rulings.
Qualifications:
- Must have been in the League for a minimum of 3 seasons, or provide a detailed, written, compelling reason why I should make a special exception for you.
- Must be active on Discord.
- Preference will be given to non-GMs.

Please send your answers to the following questions on Discord to Attopax#4079 (you may also send them to me via private message on the forums if you find that easier):
1 - What do you believe the role of the Appeals Team to be? How can you help with that role?
2 - Please provide a list of any and all league jobs you have had in the league or any other sim league.
3- List three (3) recent Appeals Decisions (excluding the Vorshalya Appeal for obvious reasons) with your analysis of the case, what you would have voted to recommend, and why. Applicants are encouraged to use one recent decision that they disagree with and provide their viewpoint.
Applications will close on Sunday, June 19th, 2022 @ 11:59 PM EST and a decision will be made within the week in order to (attempt to) have a fully operational Appeals Team by season start. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them prior to submitting an application.
