New Season, New Look for OCO - ThunderTitan82 - 06-17-2022
When I was drafted in OCO, the gms at the time @shrub02 and @bowl0 approached me with the opportunity to design a new logo for the team. Something that kept the same kind of look, but was new and fresh, a modernization if you will. Over time when I was working on the logo, I got the incredible opportunity to become one of the new gms on the team, and so now have the opportunity not only to have designed the new logo, but to announce its reveal! With that, let’s say hello to the new Otters Brand!

This is something completely new, OCO has always just been a head. So a new unique look will fit right in with this new era. This will be used primarily on midfield of our new field.

This version is similar in many ways to our old logo, just a bit sharper, more modern. This would be used on helmets, on swaps, and on the site. We wanted something that would keep the same look and feel as the old one, just newer and more modern. But also have the primary that has more of a full body that the otters logo has never had. I’m incredibly excited to see this new Era in Orange County!

i love the subtle call to mountains in the upper part of the otter and a stream on the tail/lower part. as a socal native, when people think of the area they think LA or San Diego, but there's actually a lot of wilderness in the area and it's a really nice touch

Same! So-Cal mountains are overlooked a lot in favor of the beaches! The stream was unintentional but that’s a happy accident?
