*ISFL Community Season Predictions - RockbotRockbo - 06-24-2022

S36 ISFL Community Predictions

S36 will kick off on Monday, and it is scheduled to be an exciting season. 14 teams will be looking to best their competition to play for the Ultimus. Predicting who will finish where has become a nightmare to predict, so I once again decided to use the collective vote. Thanks to @GlimsTC  for making all ballots public again, I decided to make a google sheet that takes in all the ballots cast, and spits out a collective ranking of the community, predicting who will finish where.

Here is the final product: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1o_0tWAabEwC2D2Ep7nSxrxrsQo_0if2MRbMrXZifQKs/edit#gid=166198049

The results will update live as ballots are submitted, so what I am typing out now might change as more ballots come in (and I want to apologize in advance if I missed anybody). As of today, here is where the ISFL Collective thinks where teams will finish, according to the 85 ballots cast.

ASFC Standings

1. HON Honolulu Hahalua

49 1st Place Votes
30 2nd Place Votes
6 3rd Place Votes

Average Rank = 1.49

The defending Ultimus champions led by QB Dexter Zaylren. They will be looking to repeat as champions in a tough division. With last year’s team rushing leader Cobra Kai enjoying retirement in the glorious Hawaii weather, Buffalo Hunter, who won S35 ISFL Tight End of the Year, will be looking to fill in some big shoes at Running Back. WR’s Sal Ami and Bayley Cowabunga, along with TE Deffo not Leroy Leroy Leroy, look to add to a lethal Hahalua offense.  On the OL, the addition of former Grey Duck WR Lane Frost II should team up well with Beniri T’Chawama.

David Frank, Cade Williams, and Ben Beanman anchor the Defensive line. Their presence is also bolstered by S35 ISFL LB of the Year  Xavier Walls and LB Big Slammu, who finished 1st and 2nd in the league last year in sacks, respectively. Walls also had 9 forced fumbles and 4 fumble recoveries. The LB core is also buffed by Hex Aqua-Key’Kiann, who had 96 tackles last season. Lip Gallaghar and Modern Nazgulm and Ray the Manta Ray look to shut down corners, while Miles Weperom and Eleven Kenrick-Watts look to shut down the middle of the field. Freddy Bly looks to make an impact on Special Teams.

2. ARI Arizona Outlaws

Realistically, this is the only team that can possibly challenge Honolulu for the division title. S35 MVP QB Wendell Sailor looks to lead an offense that also has S35 Offensive Player of the Year RB Jay Cue Jr.. The RB room also has RB John Riggins, who will look to have an increased role in the offense. The WR room is also lethal, and the trio of Quinton Crash, Kotoni Staggs, and “Captain” Billy Stinkwater will look to wreak havoc on the ISFL. Herc Kirkby is also a formidable threat at the TE position. Sailor and Cue Jr. will also be helped out with the Offensive line duo of Bernie Sanders and D’Nickashaw Mangoldson.

The Arizona Defense opts to go with the Defensive tackle trio of (S35 ISFL Defensive Tackle of the Year) Chuck Roth, Toucan Sam, and JJ Jay Jay-Jaymison Jr. Even though he is deep in regression, LB L’Gazzy Burfict looks to help the LB core of Glen Smart and Miracle Whip. With the retirement of Tayshawn Crunk, the CB room features Spottie O’Dopaliscious, CMC’s Burner and veteran Rich Triplet; while the Sayftey duo of Tre’Mendus Johnson and Lance Witt look to ball-hawk over center-field. Veteran Kicker and Punter Cade York looks to strengthen the special teams unit.

3. OCO Orange County Otters

The otters will be looking to best their 9-7 record and go far in the S36 playoffs. The otters, led by QB Tron Carter, will have a formidable rushing attack with the duo of Goat Tank Jr. and Zane Cold. FB Gus Bus will be looking to open up lanes in the rushing attack. WR’s Rodka Raskolikov and Ken Oath give Carter plenty of opportunities in the passing game, as well as Tight End Molki Koivu. Offensive Linemen Dallas Fort-Worth looks to keep Carter upright.

The defensive front 4 of Leonardo McTurtle, Will Stern, Raphael McTurtle, and Garfield Despacito III will look to best their defensive performance last year of 55 sacks. Their presence will be helped by an elite LB core of Dominos Pizzaman and Bender Rodriguez. Veteran Anton Bruckner will help Ace McAlister and Doc Holliday in the CB room. The safety tandem of  (S35 ISFL Saftey of the Year) Rean Schwarzer and Tom Taylor will look to keep QB’s guessing. S35 ISFL Punter and Kicker of the Year Dallas Dole will look to power his way to victories in the special teams room.

San Jose had a mediocre season last year, going 8-8. Even entering the beginning stages of regression, QB Panda McKyle can still put the ball in any place he wants. He is helped with a RB duo of Mason Malone and DeAndre King. WR’s Jaycee Higgins and Louis Blondin will help bolster McKyle’s arm strength. Promising TE Deshawn Penne looks to use his speed and agility to put up big numbers. The Offensive Linemen trio of Jaja Ding Dong, Chevvy Bronko, and Dane Johnson Jr. will help both pave the way for the Running Backs and protect McKyle from being hit.

The defensive line is young, but very promising, especially since no player whas drafted earlier than S31. Arnie Rufus, Erick Bolanos, Patty Pumpernickel, and S36 star Fat Jack look to rush the opposing QB. The young core will be helped by LB’s Nick Flint, Konstantin Selich, Duke Cheeks, and Tyron Brackenridge Jr.. The SaberCats feature an elite CB room of Cedric Wilkins II, Guy Gibson, and Raeni Clarke. The Safteys of Orpheus Czargyros and Russet Baker will fly by defenses. It should also be noted that nobody in the Sabercats backfield has a speed of below 95. Kicker and Punter Jack Lewis will look to grow and lead the Sabercats to more victories.

The Silverbacks finished 6-10 last season, but will be bolstered by exciting mobile QB Malcolm Savage. With Buster Bawlls retirement, FB William Groves looks to pave the way for RB’s Brandon Prince and Lot Smith VIII. Their WR room took a hit last offseason, with the retirement of Jackson Kingston and Cmon Skiuuup. S35 ISFL Returner of the Year Tugg Speedman will still look to lead WR’s Matthew Holford and Darius Bailey to add to Malcom Savage’s potent game. S27 draftee James Wilkinson will look to give all he has left and will pave the way for S34 draftee TE Nacho Macho Man. With the retirement of Bob Roberts, Joey Marston will look to help pave the way for the New York backfield.

With the retirement of Brick Van Sanzo, the Silverback front 4 will still be potent with Andrew Warthol, Anthony MacGuire, George Fantobens, and elite Defensive End Rocco Blade. Even if the team released DeCarr Rek and Hank Winchester retired, the core of Bill de La T. Dauterive, S35 tackle leader Sakeem Webb, and Videl Valor will look to strengthen their defense. With Dukburg QuakStak, Safteys Dogwood Maple, Regina Ferraro, and Lawrence Miller will look to help corners Dax Dangerfield and Chunt the Badger. Ian Cole III will look to make his mark as their kicker.

Looking to do better than their 5-11 performance last year, the Copperheads will be led by QB Tight End Eighty-Two. The Copperheads will look to operate without a TE so far (in the latest update) and will be held firm and center by Offensive Linemen Beeg Beeg Yoshi.

Fitinyomouf, and will be helped by Joey Din, Daniel O’Leary, and rookie DSFL sack leader and S35 DSFL Defensive End of the Year Jean-Ralphio Saperstein. The Copperheads will roll with 4 cornerbacks on their roster: Siege Cameron, Draft Steal, Owen Reed, and rookie Raffaele Tommasi. The team that drafted the author of this post is predicted by the community to finish last in the ASFC. The team will call up Elessar Jones to the big leagues from Tijuana. Elite TE Rex Crenshaw will also bolster the Secondline blocking and receiving ability. Madison Beer will also look to strongarm opposing linemen to allow Jones to find his targets.

RE: ISFL Community Season Predictions - DREAMSLOTH - 06-24-2022

People really do be sleeping on Yellowknife. Also RIP Colorado not getting a first place vote this season. I learned my lesson from S35.
