HIRED: Awards Department Head - DarknessRising - 06-25-2022
We are on the lookout for two users who will head up our newest league departments: the ISFL Awards Dept and the DSFL Awards Dept!
As an Awards Head, you will initially be responsible for hiring a permanent team of fellow awards and stats enthusiasts to help you with the following assignments:
- Deciding on nominees for the league's end of season awards and putting together the final ballot (starting in the next offseason)
- Putting together a voting form for GMs to vote on the Pro Bowl, then publishing the results (starting in the next offseason)
- Publishing 5 x 'Players of the Week' articles per season, highlighting the league's best Offensive, Defensive and Special Teams players from the previous calendar week (starting from S37 regular season)
For the end of season awards, you and the team will be compiling nominees for the following awards:
- Most Valuable Player
- Offensive Player of the Year
- Defensive Player of the Year
- Offensive Rookie of the Year
- Defensive Rookie of the Year
- Individual Performance of the Year
As well as deciding on the nominees, you and your team will also each get a vote in the final ballot along with GMs and Head Office. The idea is that once it has been shown that the committee can both nominate and vote fairly in the final ballot, the eventual award winners will be for your department to decide entirely.
