(S36) PT 1 – Just a Prank Bro
Complete the weekly Point Task to earn 3 TPE! All written responses must be at least 150 words. PT's may be submitted in another language, if you mention what language you are translating into, to make the job of the grader easier.
Do not claim this TPE until it has been graded and posted to the S35 claim thread. This task is due next Sunday, July 3rd, 2022 at 11:59 ET. Have fun and get writing!
Written option: It's the start of a new season, which means tons of new faces are on teams all around! So, there's only one reasonable way to welcome all these new faces to the team: Prank em. Write about what sort of hilarious prank you and the team have come up with to unleash on the new rookies!
Graphic option: Create a graphic displaying what sort of prank you and the team have unleashed upon the rookies.
Affiliate claims from SHL and PBE and WSBL are accepted; link directly to your post and add a note if your username is different there. Make sure the week of the affiliate PT matches with the week of this point task.

One of the best Minnesota Grey Duck traditions for the past few years has undoubtedly been the repeated pinging of (former) GM @Painted. Well, even though this will be Painted's first post-Duck season, that does not get him off the hook. We always ask the rookies to lead the charge so that we can see who will go along with the meme. Usually, the more a rookie pings Painted, the more we like him. It's the prudish ones that you have to watch out for. They're the ones who are going to refuse to ping the most annoyingly helpful GM in history. We only like the rookies who play along and know the value of a well-crafted and clever joke. For instance, last year our best rookie users pinged Painted a combined total of 147 times. That's the highest record of Painted pings since S33. We're very hopeful that we can break that record this season. We have a couple of great new users that have already made their presence felt in the locker room.

For the upcoming Grey Duck season, I would have a couple different options for pranks to play on the rookies. The first prank is simple: I go up to them and tell them that a superstar player has been traded to our team and is going to take their spot on the team. I will let that news settle in for a few moments, but not forever because we aren’t complete assholes. The second prank is a bit more complicated. We would take the top ISFL player that plays on the other side of the ball, and disguise him like a hobo. Then we would invite the hobo to come join our practice, and see him destroy the rookie at practice. We do a big reveal at the end and the rookie can have some laughs, take some pointers, etc. This is similar to what Red Bull/Subway did in real life when they disguised Jared Goff as a juco transfer student and he lit up their defense in practice (I really recommended everyone to check it out, it is hilarious).
