*Ryan Murray Debut - RyanM1414 - 07-09-2022

Ryan Murray made his big debut for the Bondi Beach Buccaneers during their week 2 game against the Dallas Birddogs. Murray, a standout safety out of LSU, looked very promising for his first ever game. He started the game hot, putting his first ever stat in the way of a 6 yard sack midway through the first quarter. The safety then went a little quiet for a bit until he made his second and last play of the game, which came early in the fourth quarter when he had a pass deflection. The deflection ended up forcing a turnover on downs. That was all he had for the week, but the two plays he did make had pretty significant impact on the game even though it was a blowout. He hopes to carry this start to the rest of the season and improve more and more as he gets better. After the game he was quoted saying that he only expects to go up from here and that he was satisfied with his game. He also said to expect that first interception very soon and many more to come right after that. It looks like Murray has some high praise and high standards for himself going into the future and for the rest of his career.
