Walrus Jones has decided to enlist in the DSFL draft being held in several weeks.
Walrus, who has zero relation to the better known Pug Walrus, will be using his considerable size and persuasion on the offensive line for some lucky team next season. “Pushing people around has always been something I was good at”, remarked Walrus. “I’ve decided to take that passion to the next level, and get paid handsomely for my talents. I’m also thrilled about forming bonds of friendship and teamwork, but the money is the primary goal.”
Walrus hails from the hotbed of football that is South Florida, and while he’s never played the game in person before, he’s watched a lot of games on TV. He is sure he’s smarter than all those coaches that have been doing it for years. “It may take me weeks to get up to speed, but I figure it will be smooth sailing after that. I hope to make the Hall of Fame in 3-4 seasons of play”, Walrus stated confidently.
In preparation for the draft, Walrus is already hard at work getting as much regenerative rest as possible and playing Madden daily. He’s also looking to get healthier, bypassing Frostys for diet soda, and has switched to smoking low tar cigarettes.
“Watch out league, my journey is about to begin!” bellowed Walrus.
