Double Media Prompt
Now for the double media payout: Why do I love the ISFL? Man, there are so many reasons, I’m not sure I will get to all of them before I hit five hundred words. Firstly, let me get something straight: I LOVE FOOTBALL. It might be an addiction, but it is something so fascinating, like a real-life game of chess that requires both strength and tactics that people of any size can play. No matter what you are shaped like, football has a role for you. When there is no football in the offseason, things can get depressing. With simulation football, I can experience football year-round and track the sim team to be drafted. Hell, I don’t need to have the talent to play snaps in the ISFL, I just need to make sure I show up and do the tasks. Having football year-round is one of the reasons I love simulation football.

Another reason I love simulation football is that I can make so many friends from around the world through this activity. We all can nerd out about simulation football and real football. It gives us a sense of community that we really cannot get elsewhere. Some of us have had problems in real life but can turn to simulation football as a source of happiness. The thrice-weekly games can give ISFL fans something to watch almost every night. Whenever we have problems, we can turn to the ISFL community for advice and the older members can mentor the younger ones.

Another reason I love the ISFL Community is the Head Office. They always ensure that the games run quickly, payments are made, cross the t’s, and dot the i’s. Everything runs so seamlessly to us on the outside that we almost take it for granted. Another reason I love the ISFL Head Office is their swift actions relating to anything misconduct related. I have been in other activities where there has been a history of harassment and misconduct, and only small changes of progress are being made. However, in the ISFL, whenever there is an act of misconduct, the head office is always quick to investigate and dole out fair and effective punishments. I know that the ISFL has had a history of having a wild west, but coming from another activity that feels like the wild west when it comes to misconduct-related stuff and other discussions, this currently looks like a good place to be. The reactions that the Head Office has when it comes to misconduct make the community as a whole feel safe and welcomed.

Another reason why I love the ISFL is that everyone makes me feel welcome. Since when I first joined the DSFL server, I have been welcomed by multiple people and they were kind enough to help me walk through the rules. I do not think I would be active in the ISFL Community today if it was not for the thankless work that they do. In conclusion, I love the ISFL, please keep up the good work and stay wholesome!
