1 - Commissioner Thoughts
Greetings and salutations once again, ISFL community! Since the last newsletter put out about a month ago, there have been a number of changes in the landscape of league leadership, as well as an Ultimus and Ultimini being won (congratulations to the Honolulu Hahalua and the Tijuana Luchadores!), awards being won, and a new season just starting! As we roll into the 37th season of existence here in the ISFL and roll ever closer to the winter months approaching, I want to take a moment to thank each of you reading this for being a part of the great community we have here and sharing yourselves with us. Whether it’s via discord activity, hall of fame induction, max earning, or any other way, thank you! With that being said, let’s get into the changes:

2 - ISFL HO Hirings
As I said in our last newsletter, ISFL HO was looking to hire two new interns, and we have done so! @dude_man has loads of experience in nearly every facet of everything, and having him as a part of the HO roster helps HO as a whole. @DREAMSLOTH is a newer user to the site, this being his third season in the league, but has shown activity and a desire to help make the league a better place, and we’re happy to welcome him into an intern position! Congratulations to Dude and Dream!

3 - DSFL HO Changes
As Nunccoepi posted just recently, DSFL HO has also undergone some changes! To summarize his post, @slate has moved on to an ISFL GM position, while @domffl and @stein have moved from intern to full fledged HO status! In intern hires,  @Mojojojo and @TwoSocks have been brought on as well and we look forward to their contributions!

4 - GM Changes
We have a fair bit of turnover in the GM department this offseason. To begin with, the Orange County Otters GMs @bowl0 and @ThunderTitan82 both stepped down this offseason after several seasons at the helm. Thank you both for all the work you put in to make OCO competitive these last few seasons! In their stead, as mentioned above, Slate stepped down from DSFL HO to become the main GM of the Otters, and hired @"gbeck765" to be his co-GM! Congratulations to you both, and the league looks forward to what you do with the Otters!

Beck was previously the GM of the Seawolves, stepping down at the end of last season, and to replace him, Norfolk brought in @"ephenessta"! Eph is a previous DSFL HO member, has been a member of the Seawolves war room for a long time, and was the logical choice to step up into the position and continue the legacy of success. Congratulations, Eph!

Next, both Luchadore GMs moved on immediately after winning the Ultimini last season. @Kotasa and @dude_man had some extremely dominant seasons and did great with development of their rookies, but they felt that their time had come to move on. Dude to an HO intern spot, and Kotasa we’ll cover in a moment. In their stead, @PBS and @Jaywe88 have risen to the challenge of taking the Luchadores back to the championship! PBS was responsible for all the game balls for the Luchadores last season, and it was only natural that the author of the nationwide sensation Dobbling would rise to the top eventually! Congratulations to you both!

Speaking of Kotasa, @Crunk stepped down from the Arizona Outlaws this past season after a long, incredibly successful GM career. While the Outlaws infamously were only able to make it to one Ultimus, the day in and day out success of the Outlaws is truly impressive and is only hammered home when adding in that Crunk is the fastest GM in ISFL history to 100 wins. In his stead, @Kotasa has stepped up alongside simo, bringing his strategical knowledge and roster management abilities up to the big leagues and a ready-to-compete roster already in place! Congratulations Kotasa!

In Dallas, @Dallypole stepped down this offseason. Dally started their GM career with an Ultimini victory, which was quite the exclamation mark. Over the next few seasons, some unlucky drafts prevented them from going back to the Ultimus, but nonetheless we thank you for your service! In his place, @TheHammer43 has taken the helm in Dallas! A now second-season user, Hammer has been all over the league in activity both on Discord and on forums, and has really taken off in his desire to learn the GMing process. Congratulations, Hammer!

London’s longtime emperor, @Sebster, stepped down this past offseason as well. After taking over at the beginning of S29, Seb helped foster one of the more active DSFL locker rooms and was a constant presence in pretty much every instance in the league. However, after an 8 season reign, his time came to an end and @Alikh has taken his place! Alikh sprang into the league immediately as an active member of the community and has continued to be so since. He was one of the first members to help popularize the Dobble, and we look forward to what he can do with London in the seasons to come! Congratulations Alikh!

5 - Job Opportunities Update
The jobs posted in our last newsletter have been filled! Congratulations and welcome to @br0_0ker and @Symmetrik, joining us as new streamers, as well as once again to Dude_man and Dreamsloth coming on as HO interns. The ISFL Graphics Guru job is still open, however myself and dude_man will cover that until an applicant is found.

While we don’t have any jobs hiring right at the moment, there will always be jobs looking for more members! This forum is the place to find those jobs when they are posted! Make sure to bookmark it and check it often if you are interested in contributing to the league in the way of league employment, or interested in earning league money so that you don’t have to do the Offseason Task!

In addition, while not an official job, we do have a way to earn money that can be used towards the offseason task and PT pass purchases! You can earn a cool $3,000,000 for each season that you update your team’s history page! If you have interest, please talk to your GM and they will be able to provide you with details!

6 - Charity Drive Update
While we don’t have any further immediate progress on the intra-league charity drive that should be starting near the end of this season, we do have a charity chosen! This season, the leagues will be supporting UNICEF Ukranian Relief. Hopefully we will have a post out with much more details about this in the weeks to come!

Additionally, although not a league-sponsored charity event (which just means you won’t get TPE rewards for participating, the league does fully endorse this event), @SchwarzNarr posted a thread dedicating monetary donations based on her player’s performance for S37 to RAINN, a nonprofit charity dedicated to helping victims of sexual abuse and assault. We sent out a discord message raising awareness for this, but want to reiterate it here and give those that may not pay attention to discord announcements an opportunity to see it as well as reiterate the cause. Details can be found here.

7 - Banking System Update
While the goal was to implement the new banking system teased in the last newsletter over this past offseason, that goal turned out to be a bit ambitious and we ended up needing some more time to make sure that everything works and to make sure that we aren’t rushing things. That being said, we will definitely be on track to have this new system up during this next offseason! Closer to the end of the season, we will post an update with exact dates and details and make sure that everyone is as prepared as they can be for this changeover.

And that's it for this one! Our next newsletter should come out sometime around the closing weeks of the season, so be on the lookout for that, for any new job postings, and for details on the charity drive and bank system!

Charity Drive is for Ukraine Relief. Fucking right on. That is a fantastic choice.

Hope you nerds have some good things to put up for auction this time around because papa's got some discretional income he's hidden from his wife.

I have stopped drinking any Russian vodka which has really tanked the Ruble, but keen to help out Ukraine also by donating something in the charity drive! Good choice.
