*Ultimus Bowl XXXVIII Host City Bid - Tokyo - qWest - 10-19-2022 Konnichiwa ISFL! The Tokyo Ultimus Bid Committee, along with support from the Japanese National Simulated Tourism Organization and Visit Simulated Japan are excited to announce our bid for the 38th Ultimus Bowl, the premier simulated dot football game in the world. The Ultimus hasn't been been back to the Asian continent since Ultimus Bowl XXXIII in Seoul, Korea and, after a full suite of championship level sim football in the USA, we're hoping to keep the most exciting game in the simulated world around the globe. Tokyo is the heart of the land of the rising sun, the foremost example of Japan's evolution over the last century. The Tokyo urban area is the largest in the world by population, supplying any and every amenity needed for a premier global sporting event, much like the city did for the 2020 summer Olympics, the second Olympic games to be held in this wonderful city. The 80,000+ seat capacity Japan National Stadium is located between Shibuya and Shinjuku in the heart of the city and is well equipped to pit the S38 ASFC and NSFC champions in the fight for the Ultimus trophy. Japan has a long history of engaging with the amazing sport of gridiron football. The X-League, formerly the Japan American Football League, was founded in 1971 and is the oldest operating professional gridiron football league outside of North America. In addition, Japan is host to two different football leagues at the collegiate level. Alongside with this bid, we are excited to display our bid logo, which would feature at midfield for Ultimus Bowl XXXVIII in Tokyo. Featuring the classic red rising sun peeking up and over the towering figure of the nearby Mt Fuji. We hope this logo will be a great representation of the sport and of the host city for this game.
