Bobby Steel is a defensive back for the Birddogs of the DSFL. Steel was a 2 star running back coming out of high school from Lexington, Kentucky. He never really got a chance to touch the field until his senior year were he could see action on special teams and 3rd and long situations. Barely rushing for even 300 yards, Steel always stayed positive throughout his high school career. Eventually it paid off for him. Clemson head coach Dab Swinney was visiting practice one evening to see highly talented lineman Walker Parks. Steel impressed Swinney with his mindset and the energy he brought to the team. As time goes by Bobby Steel becomes a preferred walk on at Clemson. A chance was all he needed. Steel switched to defensive back and by the end of spring training he was already CB1. He ended up putting hall of fame stats in just 3 short years there. He had 186 tackles, 4 forced fumbles and 14 interceptions. He won 2 National Championships as well. The world has found there next PRIMETIME! Not long after declaring for the DSFL, Steel was picked up by the Birddogs. Not only did they get Bobby Steel but he former childhood friend, CJ Bosa too. Things can't get any better than this for Bobby Steel as he can live out his dream along side his homie CJ!
