Ray Baker (K) Intro - jdc4654 - 02-02-2023

Ask yourself, would you want a kicker who makes 90% of their kicks from inside the 40? If you answered yes, then Ray Baker is your guy.
Shining as bright as the sun, Ray Baker's future is bright in the DSFL. Ray Baker will give you 100% on effort and attitude. Ray is a football guy at heart and will do everything possible to contribute and motivate the team around him.

Ray Baker doesn't want you to worry about him missing the easy kicks. He won't miss 4 straight kicks in a playoff game like some other kickers. He is dedicated on providing accuracy to the team. Kickers may not be the sexiest position to draft but most times than not, they're the ones putting up the most points for a team. It may be imperative to give yourself that needed edge when the game is tight and you need a field goal to win it as the triple zeroes go on the clock. Ray Baker is a football guy and he is your guy. Draft Ray Baker

@abh89 @Fronk
Hear me out, one kicker for regular season, one kicker for postseason

Can Ray hit kicks from 50+ consistently?

Will we expect to see him handling kickoffs and punting as well?

What is the strongest part of Ray's game, and how will that help on his journey to earn his place as a great in the league?

Does your player have a go-to meal they eat before big games?

Are there any football players (could be from the NFL, ISFL, or any other league you know of) that your player looks up to/hopes to emulate?

Do you have a favorite sports related memory? Could be a memory your player has, or your own memories!

Would you rather fight one defensive-end-sized sentient football, or ten football sized defensive ends?

Are there any team logos/names/color schemes that jump out to you in the DSFL and/or ISFL?

Flaming Hot Cheetos or Jalapeno Cheetos?

@Thor

Ray's nickname in college was Mr. 35 because of his pinpoint accuracy within 35 yards. As far as 50+ yarders, Ray can make them but may not be consistent. Ray focuses on being an accurate kicker that way his team doesn't have to worry about him missing the easy ones. When you're in crunch time trying to win a game, you don't want your kicker to miss a chip shot.

Ray will definitely handle kickoffs and punting no problemo.

Outside of accuracy, the strongest parts of Ray's game are his effort and attitude. Ray is the first one at practice and the last one to leave. Ray will consistently show up for work, put in as much training as possible, and build his stats. Ray will also bring a positive attitude and outlook to whichever team signs him. The sun will shine down on Ray Baker and the DSFL team he will play for.

@lordcoolcats

On non-game days, Ray Baker may snack on Flaming Hot Cheetos as a guilty pleasure. If it is a game day, Ray Baker would only eat regular Cheetos and not Flaming Hot because he doesn't want to pull a Paul Pierce on his team and have to get wheelchaired to the bathroom.

Before big games, Ray Baker will drink at least a half gallon of water a day and maybe squeeze some lemon in there to jump start the metabolism. Maybe eat some sweet potatoes, grilled chicken breast, and some brown rice as well.

Ray Baker hopes to be remembered for his accuracy like his favorite kicker, Justin Tucker (90.52% all time).

Ray Baker may not have a favorite sports memory but he does have a least favorite: Cody Parkey's double doink in the 2018 NFC Wild Card game between the Bears and Eagles. That moment lives in infamy and even has its own wikipedia page. Ray Baker does not want a wikipedia page after a bad kick.

Ray Baker would rather fight 10 football sized defensive ends as he can use them as kicking practice.

One team that jumps out to me is the Tijuana Luchadores because I am a pro wrestling fan but I would be thrilled and bring a great attitude to any DSFL team Ray Baker plays for.
