Hey new kids,
As a lot of you (hopefully!) have seen today, I'm the Media Head here in the ISFL. I dropped a Double Media Event today in order to encourage fun media posts and get all of you (and us!) excited about the draft. You'll come to see that I'll do these every now and again at random in order to keep media flowing. The league is ALWAYS better when we have interesting and fun articles coming in the media section!
The OTHER thing I always do is type these things in a sarcastic, character type way, which I did today. I constantly make little digs that are really only meant to get people smirking and going "lol what a dummy" in a fun way. That's always been the point. Today, I made what I thought was a stupid little joke at the Cape Town Crash rebrand, and people I really enjoy are *not* thrilled with me because of it. There was a big hullabaloo when it happened a while ago, and I personally thought it was over and nobody cared about that anymore so taking a dumb poke at it was fine. It was meant to be taken lightly and I didn't think twice about it. I was quite wrong. I hurt some feelings not intending to, so I'll take my big "L" here, and publicly apologize to CTC, especially their GMs and general studs from the franchise like @Luciddreams702 , @Pat , and of course @negs , the latter of whom gave me one of the best scouting convos I had during this ISFL draft process so far. And the I'm sorry to the players I upset too.
I'm old, and I like poking fun at things. Always have, always will. Life isn't meant to be taken too seriously, and I rarely apologize for it unless it's warranted. When a group of good people are still very upset at something, then it's warranted. Don't take my screwing around as a serious take on that franchise, when in reality that was a team I would've enjoyed being a part of if I was a good fit (I doubt they were going to draft me BEFORE this).
The point is, I was just being a goof and it blew up in my face. I don't want brand new people to the league to be influenced by my screwing around when you actually have no idea that I'm not serious. I didn't think of that, I was just trying to get the double media post out quick.
Bottom line: I'm sorry Cape Town. That's completely on me (obviously) and not thinking enough about it.
New guys, stop reading this and go write media.

The moral of the story is we're all friends here and all care about this league and the people in it.
Also, this was completely unnecessary to write up but it really does mean a lot.
Except the part when you mentioned me in the same breath as you called Negs a stud. Not cool man.
