Retention Committee (2) - AK41 - 02-09-2023
As some of y'all read in the Seasonal 'ISFL Line of Scrimmage #4', with my official hiring into DSFL HO, I have proposed and been tasked with creating an running a Retention Committee that will oversee both DSFL and ISFL. As noted so eloquently by Laser, ideally, the committee will reach out to users who have left the league and figure out the reason(s) why, then list those reasons in a report to HO and the recruitment department where we will see what changes may need to be made in the league. This committee will also offer support for users who perhaps feel overwhelmed when first joining.
This committee will be used to foster a welcoming environment for new individuals who need help and/or feel lost as they enter the league, as well as reach out to members deemed inactive to see if we can find the root cause for this inactivity, and if it is league related, how can we propose potential changes that may help bring these individuals back or minimize potential future issues with other new members. Overall, this will create a seasonal report to ISFL & DSFL HO regarding inactive members, what some potential responses we received from these individuals are, and proposals as to how we can continue to grow the league to minimize inactivity and retain the wheels that keep this bus moving, our members.
