"Breaking news, the Minnesota Grey Ducks signed former alumn Lane Frost II last night to be their new offensive assistant and as their wide receiver's coach.
Frost joined Minnesota in 2047 and played four full seasons as the Grey Ducks starting wide receiver. He tallied 4,510 receiving yards on 278 receptions and 26 touchdowns. As the Minnesota return man for his final three years, he compiled 1,943 kick-off return yards and 263 punt return yards. He has the most receptions (37), and receiving yards (552), and is tied for the most touchdowns (5) in a player's playoff career. He also holds the record for most receiving yards by a Grey Duck (198) and is tied for most receiving touchdowns (3) in a single game. Frost was a three-time DSFL Pro Bowler and won an Ultimus Bowl in 2051 with the Honolulu Hahalua.
Frost retired from football at the age of 28 in 2053 after competing in the World Football Championship with the Southwest United States team. Frost was then hired as assistant head coach of the Chicago Bears and would spend one season in the Windy City before he left for personal reasons. It was just announced that the team his youngest brother currently plays on hired him to be their offensive assistant and wide receiver's coach for the next two seasons. Frost has not made an appearance to the media quite yet but is set to make his first media appearance since 2052 on Monday."
