Bluey, Australia’s Superior Cartoon - soevil - 02-18-2023

The following is a contractual obligation piece for @Thor - “A CHI Team member must write a short media piece about the Australian superiority in some aspect of life”

As a father I have had ample opportunity to watch a shitload of children’s cartoons. Puppy Dog Pals, PJ Masks, all forms of Mickey Mouse (Clubhouse/Playhouse, Icky Mickey (aka The Wondeful World of Mickey Mouse)), Super Kitties, you name it (fortunately have yet to watch Caillou or Peppa Pig). The one that stands above them all, and is a true testament to Australia’s superiority over the rest of the world in children’s animation is Bluey.

Bluey is an amazing kids tv show (great for adults, too!) The show is based on the adventures of Bluey, a 6 year old Blue Heeler, her sister (Bingo!), and parents (Bandit and Chili) as they go about their daily lives. One of the reasons why Bluey is superior to other kids' television shows is its relatable, meaningful, and wholesome content. The show's themes revolve around family values, imaginative play, and social/emotional learning, making it an excellent choice for parents who want their children to watch educational content. The relatable nature of the show's characters and themes has made it a fan favorite, with both children and parents enjoying it together.

Another reason why Bluey is a superior kids' television show is its production quality. The show is beautifully animated and has an excellent soundtrack (the Bluey  soundtrack album is fire) The dialogue is well written, and the voice acting is great, making the characters feel real and relatable to the audience. The show's creators have also made a great effort to represent diversity, which is a key aspect of modern children's programming. Bluey’s diverse characters have different backgrounds and personalities, which helps kids learn about other cultures and perspectives. If you haven’t seen the incredible Australian cartoon Bluey, please do yourself a favor and check it out.

The only thing I disagree with about this is that it should absolutely be paid. Bluey is based.
