*S40 Ultimus Host City Submission - Paris, France - Akoustique - 02-27-2023 Hello, and welcome to my bid for S40’s Ultimus host city! This time, I’m presenting an option that, as far as my research into host city submissions go, has not been submitted before, much to my surprise! Friends, let’s bid for the Season 40 Ultimus to truly go international.  Let’s take these teams to Paris, France. Why The I in ISFL stands for International, and I think it’s time we divert the Ultimus to a city with a little bit of… je ne sais quoi, perhaps? Paris, France, an iconic city in not only Europe, but the world. Full of cultural relevance, wine, food and confidence… and less than ten miles of the center of Paris lies Saint-Denis, and the national sports stadium of France. Known for the intense European football games for the National Football Team of France, alongside the France national rugby team, France is ready to host their first-ever Ultimus game for the ISFL. Bringing the Ultimus to France will not only open eyes to a brand new audience, but also give the players, teams and general managers a chance to enjoy the sights and sounds of Paris. Visit the Notre Dame cathedral, or take a boat ride down the river Seine. Perhaps it'll even end up giving a team in search of rebranding new inspiration. The next great ISFL team in the Versailles Victory, maybe? Where As mentioned prior, the national football stadium, Stade de France, lies in the suburb of Saint-Denis. The capacity is mind-boggling, able to hold upwards of 80,000 fans of the ISFL for the Ultimus game. It has been home to two FIFA world cups, as well as the 2007 Rugby World Cup and is the planned venue for the 2023 Rugby World Cup. The Stade De France is a monumental arena fit for the highest echelon of sports, and taking the Ultimus here to be contested by the two best teams in Season 40 feels like a slam dunk Logo And finally, here’s the proposed logo for Ultimus XL. The outline of the country of France looms behind the Eiffel Tower, the ultimate prize in the Ultimus trophy now sitting atop the architectural marvel. Colors of the French flag move throughout the logo, and a refined font for the city's name clashing with the gritty numerals of XL shows the magnificence of this upcoming game.
