Before I write this article. I want to shoutout @jollyjiggs for playing absolutely insane in his first 4 games. Speed kills. He has also been a great guy along the way.
Sean and Legs’ Journey:
Let’s start with Legs McMillion. The WR with only legs came out of Leg Day University with speedy intentions for the DSFL. He played solid in the Prospect bowl with some nice receptions to get started. He got drafted as the 22nd pick for his great earning and his engagement in the rookie discord. I have become good friends with jolly jiggs and I can tell he will be here for a while and will contribute to an ISFL team once they draft him. Legs got off to a slow start through week 2. But week 3 and week 4. Oh. My. Golly gubers. Yeah so he got 134 yards and 2 TDs including a 87 yard Touchdown which is the longest play of the season for the Seawolves. I expect Legs to continue earning TPE and being a huge boost for our offense down the road. Expect him to be our WR1 by next year. Hey may be it already. So now how did I get here. Well I was on fantasy football chat on discord and saw a post by the owner that talked about the league and then I DMed TubaDeus who sent me the invite to the DSFL. My player (Sean Robinson) came out of San Diego State was a great prospect and was ready for the Prospect bowl where I put up the best numbers on the Shelbyville Stallions at receiver. I was drafted in the 6th round mainly because I wasn’t earning well. I had a great first 2 weeks of the season. First week I got a TD then second week I broke out with 5 REC, 85 yards, and 3 TDs. I noticed I was getting a lot of targets in the redzone. Week 3 and week 4 was all Legs though. I didn’t do much in those weeks. I look forward to playing with Legs and earning with him along the way.
Well the title says are we the best rookie WR duo. I would say yes because is there another rookie WR duo this active and this engaged in the DSFL? I don’t think so.
