S40 Host City Results - DarknessRising - 03-12-2023
The ballots are in and counted, and we have our winners!!
We had our best voter turnout ever in Host City Competition history, with 200 voters, up nearly 18% on the usual amount so I wanted to thank everyone for that. Furthermore, usually we have 3-5 entries, sometimes we have every entry winning but voting decides what they host, not this time. we had TWELVE entries, absolutely the most we ever had, all celebrating different cities of the world in an impressive showing. It was just spectacular to see the turnout, the energy towards this event and hopefully this continues in the following seasons to keep previous winners on their toes and find some hidden gems of logos and cities.
Before announcing the winners, let me just say a little bit about the results. Every single entry had received no less then five first place votes, and was ranked at every position at least once showing how much people differed on opinion but speaks to the quality of every entry. Reminder that all those that do not end up hosting one of the championship games, you can submit your logo for 2x media bonus as a token of appreciation to those that enter.
So, that brings us to the results....lets make sure to give them all a big celebration for their accomplishments!!

Congratulations and thank you very much t once more to all our entrants. Hopefully everyone looks forward to some exciting host city locations and hopefully nail-biting championship games.
