Injuries - cosbornballboy - 09-10-2017
Why do we not have injuries? It seems like that could help to make it an Any Given Sunday type thing. Imagine: The Wraiths are playing the Outlaws. They're down by 14 cause the Outlaws are at home. @Archon schmacks @ErMurazor. He's out for the game. The Wraith now have a chance again... Even long term, the Outlaws are murdering. Boom, Mack goes down, and the Otters are right back in it. Not severe injuries, but like 1 or 2 weeks maybe.

Yes injuries are part of the any given Sunday idea. It sounds like it could be possible, but ultimately this is for fun, and I personally don't want to sit for 2 weeks or so because my guy got concussed. That would potentially drive people away.

I get that, but maybe they get sent down to DSFL for "rehab"

Pretty much if people are going to quit if their player is out.

Honestly for the pros who would want to? Also would the injured players get the 250 TPE cap? That sounds like it could and would possibly cause a lot more problems then anything. TBH I don't think you could add injuries without losing a significant amount of players

There's minimal benefits and massive downsides to adding injuries, there's really no possible way to make it worth it.
