*Brandon and the copperheads season recap - Bmason0520 - 04-05-2023

It’s time to review the 2055 season (season 40) for Brandon and the Austin Copperheads. After last season, finishing second in the division, with a tying record with the division leaders, the Arizona outlaws, Brandon had high hopes going into the season. They made the divisional round with and unexpected early exit with a loss to the New Orleans second line. Austin was up 18-0 before New Orleans started a 22 to 3 run to win 22-21. This left a terrible taste in Brandon’s mouth, and the rest of the copperheads. They reminded themselves all off season as they prepped for the 2055 season. During the off season Brandon was approached by the general managers about making the move from guard to tackle. It was going to be a tough transition but Brandon knew he could handle it. That was the focus during the off season, learning the proper moves and techniques of playing tackle. Jimmy holding and Brandon would be the book end of the offensive line protecting the queen. As the season drew near, the copperheads were ready to take the field and prove they are a top team in the ISFL.

Austin was able to prove their competitiveness during the preseason by winning all 4 of their games against the hawks,  butchers, saber cats, and the crash. As always, preseason projections came out and this season, at least some people were putting some respect on the copperheads name. Depending on who you talked to people had them winning the division and others had them finishing as low as last place. However a large majority had them finishing in at least the top three. Brandon tried to avoid getting sucked into any of the hype of preseason projections but he was happy to see some people were actually starting to see how good they were. He was done with the preseason and ready to start the regular season.

Week 1: defending runner up, outlaws come to austin
Bring one of the top dogs not only in the asfc, but the whole league, Brandon knew this would be a tough first game. Last year austin split games with the Arizona with the home team winning each match up. In the first half you could tell austin was still shaking off some rust. Their drives consisted of 3 fumbles (2 were turnovers), 5 sacks, and 4 punts. Honestly it really couldn’t have started any worse for their offense but the defense was able to keep them in it allowing only 13 points in the first half off of 2 field goals from witchqueen and a touchdown pass from sailor to Staggs. With Austin’s first possession of the second half, buckshank is able to punch it in from 5 yards out making it 13-7. After a few back and forth drive ending in punts, queen hits Newman out of the back field who takes the distance, 54 yards for the touchdown and gives austin a 1 point lead. Fourth quarter starts with a 7 min drive by Arizona that’s capped off with a 1 yard touchdown pass from sailor to kirkby and with the 2 point conversion they are up 7. Austin has 3 more attempts to tie with one drive ending in a punt, another fumble, and then just time expiring. Brandon and the austin offense walk off the field knowing it couldn’t have been much worse for them. 5 fumbles, 5 sacks (one being Brandon’s fault) and only 14 points. Brandon went all last season without letting up a sack and already has 1 this season. This was the type of game you learn from and move on.

Week 2: austin travels to paradise 0-1
After coming off what was probably the worst way to start a season, Brandon looks to bounce back against Honolulu. Austin dominated in both match up last year they hoped to do the same this year and get a W in the win column. This game was all about the air attack and scoring points. Honolulu jumped out to a quick 3 point lead but the Queen and the austin offense found their stride, backed up by the defense. They scored 27 straight on 2 Newman 1 yard runs, a buckshank 2 yard run and a bomb for 61 yards from Queen to beeblebrox. It was honolulus turn to score some points. They ended up scoring 24 unanswered points after their defense putting up a great effort to force austin to punt on multiple drives. Montagne was dishing the ball all over the place With 3 touchdowns to 3 different receivers. However austin would score on another buckshank touchdown run and Honolulu comeback would be cut short. Queen, beeblebrox and bickerman were just too much for Honolulu to handle. Queen with 356 yards and 260 of that being split between just those 2 receivers. They were a nasty duo. Brandon was mad at himself though, while recording 6 pancakes he let up another sack. 2 in 2 games was not how he wanted his start at tackle to go. He had to be better.

Week 3: Orange County comes to Texas 1-1
Another divisional matchup for Brandon and the copperheads as the otters visit. Austin got the best of OCO in both matchups last year but with divisional matchups you never know what to expect because these opponents know you better than others. Another game where Austin’s offense struggled initially. Missed FG and a punt on the first two drive before they find the end zone on a Queen to bickerman strike.  This put austin up 7-3 in the first half. Austin was just too much for OCO to handle in the second half being out scored 24-9. Queen was dropping dimes all over the place with touchdowns to beeblebox, bickerman, and patey. Bickerman was unstoppable this game with nine catches for 136 yards and 2 touchdowns. Shinomiya also had a great day for the otters and they totaled more yards then austin by almost 100 but 3 turnovers will kill any momentum a team has. Brandon was finally happy to not let up a sack but was disappointed with his lousy 3 pancakes. He still making strides at learning to tackle position but still has plenty to learn. He has plans to watch all three of the first game and learn from them.

Week 4: austin goes to New Orleans 2-1
After splitting matchups last regular season New Orleans got the most important win, when it mattered, the divisional round of the playoffs. Austin set out with some thing to prove. They needed to make a statement. Well…The first half was not the statement they were expecting. Going down 13-0 before finally scoring just before half. They had 3 sacks, 3 penalties, and a fumble. The austin offense has really struggled in the first half of almost ever game. Luckily their defense is playing great keeping them in all these games. Coach gives a talk at half time but austin is still slow to respond. A quick 3 and out gives New Orleans the ball back and they kill 6 min and a touchdown drive that’s capped off with a 1 yard Queen run. Another 3 and out, made worse by another penalty and austin is punting the ball back again. Luckily spicy Ron is in the right place to pick off Jones and Austin’s next drive results in a touchdown from Queen to bickerman. Austin was down 14-20 going into the fourth quarter. It was plaques by penalties, punts and turnovers for both sides. Thanks to a bad punt austin gets the ball at the second line 39 yards line with 2:17 left. Queen less then down the field for a touchdown to amidala. The defense holds to give austin a close win 21-20. Brandon still isn’t pleased with his personal performance but happy the team is winning. He also fears how these slow starts might come back to haunt them later in the season.

Week 5: cats vs snakes 3-1
Brandon is happy to be sitting 3-1 with their one loss being a 1 score loss to the Arizona outlaws, as San Jose comes to town. The Sabercats are led by the back slinger Owen Farrell. Last season austin split the series with San Jose and they really struggled to slow down the Farrell to Camacho combination. And it would still be an issue this game. After punts by each team, San Jose is the first on the board with a touchdown by breezy which was quickly followed up by a touchdown from austin on a Newman. A few penalties help Austin’s drive down the field. San Jose is next to score on a chip shot FG before the game shifts Austin’s way. They score 20 unanswered points to be leading 27-10 midway through the third quarter. This is where Farrell took over. On the next drive Farrell drop a 75 yard dime over the shoulder of his receiver king to make it a 10 point game. Another drive with a few penalties on San Jose allow austin to move down the field and Queen hits beeblebrox to make it a 17 point game again. San Jose wasted a lot of time on their next drive. Almost 9 min gone and only a FG was the result, making it 34-20.  With only 4:17 left San Jose was basically out of it. Or were they? Austin kills about 2 min off clock before pointing the ball back. On the seeding play of San Jose’s drive Farrell hits his favorite target, Camacho for a 79 yard strike. 34-27. The onside kick follows and miraculously San Jose gets it. After a few short plays, Farrell gets penne wide open for a 38 yard touchdown tying the game with 20 seconds left. To over time we go. Thanks to 2 sacks for austin San Jose has to punt and the Queen leads austin down the field for the game winning FG by Tate. Crazy game for Brandon who was pleased to have a team high 7 pancakes. The film study has helped and he feeling better about himself now.

Week 6: the sailfish dominate on land 4-1
Brandon was feeling better about his game personally, liked what the team had been doing notes sitting at 4-1 as Sarasota came to town. Honestly there isn’t much to write about this one. It was all Sarasota from start to finish. Austin just couldn’t get anything going offensively and when that happens the defense gets tired and worn down. Austin had about 300 yards of total offense, 7 points, the Queen was sacked 6 times, 3 turnovers, and 3 penalties. Even Brandon only managed 1 lonely pancakes in this game. Nobody on Sarasota has a crazy stat day, austin just did everything they could to help out Sarasota. Down 24-0 at half, it was a quiet half time in the copperheads locker room. They had no answers. Austin did manage to break the shut out with 16 seconds left losing 34-7. This film wasn’t even worth watching to learn from it was that bad. Brandon and his one lonely pancake erased memories of that game and turned his focus to week 7 vs the silverbacks.

Week 7: silverback venture south 4-2
After the crippling lose to Sarasota last week, austin needed to prove they could compete. That was one loose everyone will come back to to show they aren’t as good as they claim to be. Austin knocked down the silverbacks both game last season and hoped the keep that going this season. Mcturtle and McHollywood were the main threats from New York. After points on their first drive each, austin was first on the board with a chip shot FG from Tate. On New York following drive, there mason threats were in action. Mcturtle for a14 yard rush, mchollywood for 56 yards and Mcturtle punches it in from 1 yard. Austin managed 2 FG and New York 1 in the second quarter they have a 10-9 game at half. New York opened the second half with the ball, but not for very long. After a good return, savage is picked off on the second play by kehla who returns 47 yards for the pick 6. The two point conversion makes it a 7 point game. Austin scores later in the third on a buckshank rush while New York only managed a FG. Austin takes the W 24-13. Brandon on the other hand took a huge L with back to back games with 1 pancake. There are WRs with more pancakes than him. He’s really starting to doubt himself and his ability to play tackle.

Week 8: austin good to Cape Town 5-2
Brandon didn’t play the crash last year so he will have to focus on film study and build a game plan. They were a strong team led by rb JHM and he would prove It this game. This would be a very back and forth battle all the way to the end. Not much action other than from the punters in the first quarter until buckshank points the first points in the boards giving austin the 7-0 led. JHM would get going in the next drive with 33 yards rushing and one being the 5 yard run to tying the game up. The queen hits buckshank out of the backfield for 63 yards allowing austin to score quickly on a buckshank 1 yard run. Crash quickly retaliate with a JHM 52 yard rush for a touchdown. Austin goes 3 and out on the following drive and in the punt, prince takes in 85 yards to put the crash up 21-14 at halftime. Another quick 3 and out gives the crash the ball back which results in a FG. Bickerman give austin good field position with a 40 yard return. The Queen that’s the offense down the field and Newman scores to make it a 3 point game. The crash were marching right down the field, with the help of some penalties on austin, until mcgibbons recovered a fumble forced by saperstein late in the third. Austin drove down and scored on a 46 yard FG by Tate. It was all tied up. The crush quickly broke the tie after a 45 yard strike to prince which led to another JHM 16 yard rushing touchdown. Probably the worst drive possible happened for austin next with the queen taking 3 straight sacks and having to punt it away. The game was slipping away. Thankfully for austin Steal ended up with Austin’s second pick 6 of the game tying it back up at 31s. The crash then nickeled and dimed their way down the field, wasting clock, and scored with only a 1:20 left. This wasn’t enough time for austin who would suffer their third loss. Brandon had a game high 9 pancakes which he was happy about but didn’t mean much of the team doesn’t win. Also allowed good third sack of the season.

Week 9: butcher friends come visit Brandon 5-3
Brandon has had this one marked on his calendar. This is a game that he looks forward to when it’s on the schedule. A match up with his good friends, Joe reed and austin Morley, of the butchers. Not only do their teams face off but Brandon gets to go 1 on 1 with big joe reed, who was having an mvp caliber season so far. Having trained with joe during the off season he know some of what to expect, but he knows Joe doesn’t flash all his moves when they are training. Chicago has gotten the best of austin in their recent matchups but Brandon hopes to finally get one against his pals. It was a quiet game to start with until Chicago forced a fumble on a drive that austin was moving down the field leading them to scoring the only points of the first quarter with 18 seconds left on a short field goal. Austin’s next drive was a quick 3 and out and a punt back to Chicago which led to a touchdown by st Christmas putting them up 10-0. The defenses picked it up later in the second with each team forcing a fumble, 2 sacks and 2 punts, but each offense did get a FG a piece making it 13-3 at half. Austin finds a groove offensively in the second half with the Queen dishing it out and scoring two touchdowns. One to patey and the other to bickerman and Newman got in on action too. Joe did manage to get a sack on the Queen and forcing a fumble but Brandon was quick to react and was able to jump on it. However, Chicago was also able to score more in the second half as well keeping austin from getting the lead and ultimately winning 27-24 over austin. Brandon was always happy to compete against his friends but was tired of losing. He did have a game high 9 pancakes which he was very happy about. But again pancakes mean nothing if the team isn’t winning.

Week 10: snakes visit the otters 5-4
Brandon and the copperheads head into the second round of the divisional games, starting with the Orange County otters. Sitting at 5-4, still in the race in the division, Brandon knew they had to turn things around after losing the last 2 games. This was not the game they expected. The first half of this game was all otters. The first quarter Orange County was able to put up 10 points and behind the run game of cold. Cold and Shinomiya were tearing austin apart with their legs. Austin’s offense in the other hand went 4 straight 3 and outs. Absolutely nothing was working. Second quarter was just as bad. OCO was able to add 13 more points on to their lead due to austin striking out minus 1 lonely FG. Austin committed 5 penalties, one being a holding in Brandon, had 1 interception and another 3 and out. Leaving the scoring 23-3 at half. Brandon walked into the locker room infuriated. What was happening? Their game play has been such a roller coaster ride. Dominating some games and then games like this where they don’t even compete. The second half was just more of the same. First play of the second half was a fumble by jazz giving OCO the ball back early. Austin follows that drive up with 2 more 3 and outs before buckshank finally finds the end zone.  Fourth quarter is just more sadness. Austin totaled 239 yards, punted 7 times, 2 turnovers and 10 turnovers. Another game where they just throw away the tape. Not worth it. Brandon is upset with the performance in general. Tired of saying, just need to move on to next week.

Week 11: Honolulu leaves paradise for austin 5-5
Brandon and the copperheads sit at .500 after losing 3 straight. Luckily they are still in the play hunt in the ASFC. There is a race for the second and third place spots as Arizona has basically locked in the first place spot. If austin continued on this skid they’d slide right out of the playoffs. In the first match up it was a close battle with austin winning 34-30. In typical austin fashion, they got off to a slow start offensively. A roughing the passer helped Honolulu in their first drive which led to a FG. On the following drive, the queen was strip sacked by Luigi and on Honolulu’s first play Delphine ran for 30 yards for the TD. Honolulu up 10-0 early. A penalty on Austin’s next drive kills the momentum and causes a 3 and out. Luckily for the offense steal makes a fantastic play and comes down with the interception to get them the ball back and they score a FG. The two team traded interceptions back to back drives and then Austin finally finds the end zone and a buckshank run to tie it 10-10 and they add a FG before half to put them up 13-10. Second half was another horrible start with back to back drive for austin resulting in interceptions that Honolulu scored on to give them the lead back 23-13. After a sideline pep talk by the OC austin figured it out and ended up scoring 20 unanswered points. Despite have 4 turnovers and 4 sacks austin pulled out victorious.  Brandon was feeling good finally hitting his stride with 8 pancakes and no sacks allowed. He’s finally getting the hang of the tackle position.

Week 12: battle with the league leader, the outlaws 6-5
Austin held their own in their first match up against the outlaws, who have been just dominating the league. Losing a point score game was pretty good and have Brandon and the copperheads some confidence that they could pull off the upset. Brandon felt good going into the game. It was not a high scoring affair. Austin relied on the passing game mostly since it was their strong suit and Arizona had the best run defense in the league. However the losing game wasn’t getting it done either. The first half for austin consisted of 3 points and a missed FG. Austin’s defense came to play though only allowing 6 points in the first half and sacking sailor once. The start of the show though was nedelko who was running all over austin but had been kept out of the end zone. At half coach was happy with how the defense had played but called out Brandon and the offense and said they have to do their part and put some points on the board. The third quarter started and it was more of the same. Both team got 1 sack on the qb, 2 punts done austin and a punt and FG for Arizona making the score 9-0. The fourth quarter started with another FG for Arizona making it 12-0. On the first play of the following drive, the Arizona defense had a missed coverage leaving beeblebrox wide up for the 75 yard touchdown. Austin was finally on the board and it was a 1 score game. 12-7. Defense did their job giving the offense the ball back and Queen was taking them down the field until Sicko snagged a pass one handed out of the air and saw nothing but day light. Pick 6 Arizona. 19-7. Plenty of time left on the clock however austin took most of that time on the following drive which resulted in another touchdown to beeblebrox, teams best receiver this game, making it 19-14. They had to use 2 of their 3 timeouts on that drive making the on-site kick their last chance. They didn’t recover the ball so Arizona was able to just kneel it out taking the win 19-14. It would have been a big upset but it stung being that close. Brandon was still playing as strong as ever just hoped the team could keep it together.

Week 13: snakes slither to Baltimore 6-6
The playoff race was so under way but it was anyones game. Other than the outlaws who were clearly the one seed, the other 2 spots were up for grabs and just about everyone still has a shot at claiming a spot. Brandon knew they had to close out this season string and if they did, they would for sure be in. There were four more games left and Brandon knew they could win these to lock in their fate. First was Baltimore, who was the league leaders in passing. Beatz, moreaux, Turnbull, and money were a tough group to stop. Luckily for austin they had a pretty solid pass defense. The passing game was on display as Baltimore scored twice with touchdowns to turnbull and money. Austin managed a FG in there but there was a lot of ugly, sloppy play with a strip sack and 2 penalties. Second quarter mcgibbons forced a fumble deep in austin territory with led to a FG after a 8 min drive. Not the offense they needed. Defense forces a quick 3 and out but in the first play the Queen ends up throwing a pick 6. Austin drive down the FG on the following possession but Tate missed a 40 yard FG before half. 21-6 Baltimore. Austin had really started making these slow starts a consistent thing. Coach mentioned it at half and said we can afford to do this every game it will come back to haunt us. Being off the second half Baltimore scored again. Things weren’t looking good. Austin finally found the end zone on a 51 yard strike from Queen to bickerman. Austin then took control of the game scoring 29 unanswered points, penne and beeblebrox score and geralt scores on a 87 yard pick 6 in the fourth. Austin takes this game 35-28. The team was happy to have the win but the fear of these slow starts sat heavy with Brandon.

Week 14: second line comes to austin 7-6
Brandon remembers this was a close game the last time these teams met with austin scoring the go ahead points with 1:20 left. The team focused on fixing these slow starts. Letting teams get up 10-20 points before the offense manages to score. Not sure it worked as austin was shut out in the first half. The drives resulted in 4 punts, 3 sacks, a missed FG and they tacked on 5 penalties.  Austin’s defense was doing their usual job of keeping the team in the game by only allowing 10 points in the 6 drive New Orleans had. It was still a close game at half with NO leading 10-0. Coach got on the team that they still came out flat and are having to play from behind again. Second half opened up with a quick 4 play drive from austin before punting it back. The defense forces a 3 and out giving the ball back to austin and they finally find the end zone on a rare Queen to Newman connection. Austin’s defense came to play in the second half forcing 2 more punts and having a pick 6. Austin also scored late in the fourth on a touchdown from the newly acquired, king.  New Orleans was shut out the second half and austin wins 28-10. Another big win for the playoff race but man these slow starts are creating heart attacks.

Week 15: another battle with the cats 8-6
Brandon made it an emphasis for the offense during practices to figure out what they needed to do to get off to better starts in games. More times than not, austin has had to play from behind. They have been able to manage comebacks in a lot of games but eventually that will come back to haunt them. They also needed to focus on cleaning up their play. They had games with lots of sacks, lots of penalties, and turnovers. These are also critical areas of the game that can cause a team to lose. They locked in their playoff spot with a win in week 14 but they had a chance to work on these things in a game with the saber cats before the playoffs. In Austin’s first drive, they end up in a 3 and out after a penalty set back their drive. They punt and San Jose scores on a pass from Farrell to Higgins. Austin has to make sure Farrell doesn’t tear them up as one of the leagues leading passers. After a few more penalty and sack plaques drives, austin executes their game plan and score 28 unanswered thanks to great play from the defense slowing down San Jose. The half closes out with each team punting back and forth a couple time. Half time score 28-7 austin. Pleased with their performance and preventing the slow start, austin knows they still have things to clean up. Second half was not a good as austin punted in all 5 of their drives with 5 penalties and 3 sacks in the second half while San Jose was scoring 21 unanswered behind ex austin running back buckshank score long 2 of the 3 touchdowns. This time it wasn’t a slow start but a poor finish. With the game tied 28-28 it goes to OT. Austin received the ball first and the Queen took control. Completing passes to almost every receiver on the team during the drive, San Jose couldn’t stop it. Austin wins in OT on a familiar connection, Queen to bickerman. Pleased they escaped but Brandon still hates how they struggle to put together a full 60 min game. They need to to be competitive in the playoffs vs teams like the outlaws and wraiths.

Week 16: season finale in the big Apple 9-6
Looking at closing out the season on a high note. Brandon has finally gotten comfortable with the tackle position. He hasn’t let up a sack since week 8 and has totaled 84 pancakes, just 2 shy of last seasons total. This game should be a win for austin to help the momentum going into the playoffs. The big thing in this game is slowing down McTurtle. The teams trade punts before New York gets into Austin territory and finishes with a FG. Austin responses with a deep pass to beeblebrox to get in FG range and rate nails the 36 yarder. The teams the go back to back drives with big plays that lead to touchdowns.  All tied up 10-10. This game then turns to an austin scoring fest.  Thanks to 2 picks, a fumble and fumble recovery, 2 sacks and 5 penalties on New York, austin out scores New York 41-6 after the 10-10 score. Austin finally dominated a game, no turnovers, only 4 penalties, won the time of possession, and total yards. This is the recipe for victory for austin. If they can keep this up, they can beat anyone. Brandon on cloud nine recording 9 pancakes setting a personal season record of 93. While this was a great end to the season. They now had to prep for the playoffs and their match up with the Orange County otters.

Divisional round: tie breaker with the otters
Austin had been in this position last season and couldn’t close the deal being up big against New Orleans and then collapsing. They had another chance this season going up against the otters. They knew what to expect from these guys. They just needed to execute. Game day was here. The winner would face off with Arizona. Austin goes 3 and out and thanks to a big sack from Din, OCO punts as well. A roughing the passer on OCO helps put austin in FG range to score the first points of the game. OCO follows up on the second play of their drive with a 68 yard bomb to Hodges. Austin offense starts to struggle after this. The next 4 drives were pick, missed FG, fumble and then another pick. Austin’s defense did what they did all season was able to keep them to only a FG during this span. Right before half, Queen found a wide open penne  for a 68 yard touchdown. 10-10 at half. Austin regrouped at half knowing they had to finish this. Forget about the first half and all the mistakes and miscues. It’s basically a 0-0 game. Only points of the third quarter was a FG from OCO. Other than that, both offense had stalled. Austin did forfeit another fumble and committed 3 more penalties. Austin finally ties it up early in the fourth. Another series of punts before austin gets pinned back in their own end. Bender find their shot at the Queen for a 11 yard sack putting austin on their own 1 yard line. Next play Sunigh gets to the Queen too but for a strip sack which was recovered by OCO for the go ahead touchdown. There was still 5 min left in the game. First drive for austin was a quick 3 and out but the defense gave them the ball back for one last shot. Austin drove down and on a crucial 4th and 5 on the OCO 29, OCO committed a neutral zone infraction, a five yard penalty, but austin needed 5 1/2 yards for a first leaving it a 4th and inches. Instead of running, austin decides to try and throw which was a crucial mistake. The pass was broken up ending any shot of austin winning. Once again, they were bested in the divisional round. However, they played one of the most unclean games of the season. 5 turnover, 9 penalties, 3 sacks and lost on time of possession. Brandon walked off extremely disappointed. He was confident this was their year to make it past this round. The game plan was there but the execution was not. To think if they played this ugly and lost by 7 what could they have done had they played clean. It’s time to move onto next season in hopes they can break this curse.

2.5x media booster:

I was asked by a couple of friends to join this league, and having not done something like this before, I didn’t really know what to expect. I understood the concept but wasn’t sure if it was something that I would be interested in, but I figured why not. If I don’t like it, I’ll just stop doing it.  At first I was definitely overwhelmed but other than that from the get go I’ve really enjoyed it. Being able to create a player and develop them how I want to has been fun and seeing how they get better along the way. The first thing I really noticed was how welcoming and helping everyone was. Having no idea what to do or where to go, anytime I had questions someone was always willing to help out. Also the amount of people in the league was mind blowing to me. I just expected it to be a smaller thing but this is impressive and the complexity of it is also impressive. I will say that I was a pretty quiet user. I didn’t do much in the discord channels or comment on people posts, but recently I have been, since Twitter went away, and it’s been fun talking to people in all the different channels and learning things that other people like as well.  Like the other day chatting about watching wrestlemania. I apologize for all of those that I talked to during this time, I forgot who all it was, but we had a good time chatting about who would win and talking about crazy things that were happening. On a personal note, this has also given me the ability to do something while not sleeping because I have a baby who refuses to sleep currently lol. I can get on and write media, update my page, look at stats, watch the recorded games on YouTube, etc. And since people work different shift and are located all over the world, there’s almost always someone on to talk to in all of the different channels. There’s a lot of opportunities to get heavily involved in the league which is cool but you can also be a more casual user and just participate in the typical interactions of the league. There are multiple different types of jobs so you can be involved in different avenues of the league too. I have had great experiences in all the locker rooms I have been in with the Pythons, coyotes, and the copperheads. They are interactive locker rooms filled with people who are willing to just chat and also help you with question about the league or even how to build you player and spend your tpe. It’s nice having a mix of people based on experience so people can help each other out along the way. All in all, for someone who is a more quiet user, a more casual user, this has been a fun place to be, a way for me to spend some free time while being kept awake, and getting to know people from all over the world.
