*S43 W6 ISFL Recap + Survivor Picks for Week 7 - McGriddy10 - 08-18-2023

Hello and welcome to this edition of ISFL Survivor Recaps. You may be wondering where Weeks 2-6 are, well here is the answer. I have been straight busy. I just got to a spot where I'm not so busy. Let's get straight into it.

Arizona is the first team on this list. Arizona is the most dominant team in the last 5 weeks coming into Week 7 on a 5 game win streak. I have Arizona absolutely demolishing New Orleans. Austin dethroned Baltimore and handed them their 1st loss in the season. It was a two-score win. My man, Donovan Winters III completed 75% of his passes en route to 250 yards, 3 touchdowns, and 1 interception. If you have not picked Arizona for Survivor, I highly advise you to do so this week.

Austin is playing .500 ball and is coming off of a win against the New Orleans Second Line. They won by a score of 24-10 and their QB, Queen Elizabeth II, was the best quarterback in the game completing 66.7% of their passes en route to 172 yards, 1 touchdown, and 1 interception. I have Austin losing to Orange County in week 7. I don't know why I feel this way, but Orange County straight-up bullied the Hahalua last week.

Baltimore is up next, they are coming off of a crushing loss to the Copperheads. Typically, in sports, a team that loses comes back with a vengeance and absolutely dominates the next game. However, this is a sim league so this may not happen. I have Baltimore absolutely throttling the Chicago Butchers in week 7.

Berlin is in the same boat as the Copperheads, they were the S42 Ultimus runner-ups. I honestly feel bad for @Dewalt27 because he got this team to the Ultimus and lost to the Outlaws. Now this team isn't firing with the same pizazz that they had last season, as they lost to the Colorado Yeti. I really think Berlin will make it back to the Ultimus and put up one hell of a fight. I have Berlin winning against Sarasota in week 7.

Chicago is the next team to face the wrath of the McGriddy Recaps Series. Chicago barely beat Sarasota, but a W is a W. Their RB, Frank Dux, was the star of the game. Frank ran for 126 yards and 2 TDs on 28 attempts. Sadly, I have Chicago losing to Baltimore in their week 7 matchup.

Colorado is by far an anomaly, they are playing .500 ball and are coming off of a very surprising win against Berlin. Their QB, Wolfie McDummy Jr, completed 71.4% of his passes going for 283 yards and 1 TD. Interestingly enough, his passer rating was 104.8. I have Colorado unfortunately losing to the Yellowknife Wraiths.

Next up on this silly list is, the Honolulu Hahalua. Honolulu is coming off of an astonishing loss to the Orange County Otters. I have them losing to the San Jose Sabercats. Go Hahalua, please lose to my team.

Thank you all for reading this silly and fun recap series where I write til I hit 1-2 mil payout.
