*Willie Swaggert - Beginning - GlimsTC - 08-25-2023

Just as the sun rises to shine its light upon the land, so too does the hardest hitting, fastest moving, most dripped out player in the world: Willie Swaggert.

From day one, Willie knew he was born for greatness. He was a diva through and through and was proud to be. His parents, teachers, friends, even random passersbys on the street would constantly beg him to be more considerate or kind, but he refused. To stoop down to anyone else's level would be like admitting he wasn't #1. But he would never let that happen, for he was and always will be the main character on screen at all times.

The toughest hardship Willie ever had to face was the realization that his deadbeat parents would never become rich and spoil him like he deserved. It frustrated him. Should the world really be so cruel to force someone like HIM to actually have to get up and work? Unfortunately, it seemed so. So work Willie did, training to become a professional athlete. Not only was it an easy way to get famous, but all he had to do was run around a little bit and he'd start raking in the dough. Through elementary school all the way through high school he would be the team's starting RB. bulldozing opposing tacklers with his impressive size which he flaunted as proof of his privilege.

Finally, after years of being forced to do the heavy lifting, his work paid off. He would receive a scholarship offer from a local college called "The Citadel". Willie thought to himself "Ain't that the thing from Mass Effect?" And so, he accepted without any hesitation, excited for the opportunity to explore the cosmos while playing football. Unfortunately, he quickly found out The Citadel was not what he thought, but instead a military college. He was devastated, as this meant his training was going to be turned up even harder and the rules placed upon him would be even stricter than before. On the bright side though, the school gave him a free Dodge Charger™, so that was pretty cool.

Upon taking his first snap for The Citadel, it was made apparent to him that they didn't respect his size as much as his old school did, forcing him to play FB and do this thing called "blocking" for "his teammate". This led to Willie lashing out often, going so far as to try and sabotage his team during games for the disrespect. He'd dive out in front of the RB, he'd stand behind the QB and force him to trip, he'd purposely let blockers pass in hopes the RB would get clocked, and various other horrible displays of sportsmanship. But yet, somehow, he was enabled and allowed to get away with this. Even rewarded by being allowed to punch it in on the goalline for touchdowns occasionally. No one could understand what was going on. The rules that he once feared seem to bend to his will, as if the world was protecting him. No one could understand why this was allowed to happen, no one but Willie Swaggert, who knew the true reason. As life has always shown him, he is that guy. The main character who as usual, can do no wrong. This hardship of playing FB for this undeserving team would pass eventually, but until then, he was going to let the whole world know who he was.

Fast forward to now, Willie Swaggert is finally eligible to enter the DSFL in this upcoming season after being rejected previously due to repeatedly showing up in front of the head office too early. It didn't matter how many times the police were called for loitering and unlawful squatting, his dream was going to become a reality. And now, as the trade deadline approaches, his time is finally coming. He's sure the many GMs of the league will see the value in him running full force as their starting RB. After all, how could they not? All eyes were on him and he was going to make sure it stayed that way.
