*3 Graphs - Point Differential Heading Into Week 5 - JoshiePoo - 10-08-2023

Hello! Do you like meaningless analysis and graphs that look nice but don't mean anything? Are poorly formatted tables and bad design choices your cup of tea? Great! Have I got the post for you. The index is a trove of fun information that I love to dig around in, and now I get to share that information with you, dear reader. Praise be to the index. Anyways, here's Wonderwall 3 graphs of point differential through Week 4 across the ISFL, in various transformations.

What does this graph show us? Nothing we didn't already know. The Cape Town Crash are a good team. The Arizona Outlaws are a good team. The New Orleans Second Line have not done very well in each of their three losses. Here is a variation of the graph I found interesting that highlights one outlier over the course of the season.

When you sort the Point Differential Graph by points allowed, with teams allowing the most points on the left, and teams allowing the least points on the right, the Copperheads shoot up towards the top. The snakes have allowed the 3rd least points in the league thus far, with only 77 against. But, they've only scored 62 points on offense through four weeks, which is worst in the league. Also interesting is how Cape Town drops to #6 on this variation, but are still second in points differential, showing how absurd the rhino offense has been through 4 weeks. Here is one last variation of the graph, which highlights one more fun thing.

Above is the Points Differential Graph sorted by the highest scoring offenses. The Hahalua are notable on the left for the 3rd lowest scoring offense but positive points differential. Honolulu's defense has been 2nd best in the league through 4 weeks in points allowed, which accounts for this outlier.  The Hawks and Otters likewise on the right for the 3rd and 4th highest scoring offenses respectively, but still have a negative point differential.
