With two weeks to go in the ISFL the playoff pictures in the two conferences are almost set.
In the ASFC the four participants in the playoffs are for sure:
Honolulu (10-4), New York and Austin (9-5) and Arizona with a 8-6 record.
In fifth place are the Orange County Otters with an 6-8 record which are mathematically not eliminated but....
... the remaining games against the New York Silverbacks and the Arizona Outlaws will not be cake walks and if Arizona wins against Austin in week 15 the race is over for the Otters, but....
if Arizona loses and the Otters win in week 15 there will be a week 16 matchup between the two teams with the winner moving on to the playoffs.
The NSFC has two powerhouses on top with Cape Town (12-2) and Baltimore (13-3). The tickets for the playoffs have been booked.
The remaining two playoff spots will be decided between three teams which all have a 7-7 record after the week 14 games.
The Berlin Fire Salamanders, Sarasota Sailfish and Yellowknife Wraiths are trying to find a way into the playoffs.
The remaining schedule for the three teams:
Berlin against Colorado (4-10) and New Orleans (3-11)
Sarasota @ Cape Town and at home against Colorado and
Yellowknife against Baltimore and Cape Town.
Obviously the Yellowknife Wraiths are facing the toughest road against the two top teams of the league but you never know.....
