Hiring: Sim Balance Team Members! - Pat - 11-14-2023
Hello everyone!
The sim balance team is hiring! We're coming up on 3 calendar years since we migrated our sim engine from DDSPF16 to 21 and while there have been a few balance patches in the seasons that followed, we haven't released any significant chances in recent seasons.
We've been working behind the scenes on testing some future adjustments, but we've decided that the team and the end product of any future patches will benefit from some fresh faces in the team.
We are looking for users who:
- Take an interest in overall league health and making sure that gameplay is fair and balanced, even when that interest runs counter to maximizing your own team/player's performance
- Have experience with sim testing for DDSPF21
- Have ideas for areas that could/should be balanced
- Are comfortable analyzing data and extracting conclusions from it to guide decision making
- Are extremely familiar with all aspects of the current sim, including attributes, traits, strategy settings, depth charts etc

GMs are not explicitly excluded, but bonus points if you're not heavily involved in one team's management and/or have a track record of impartiality.
