*A S40 DSFL Draft Retrospective and Grade - jollyjiggs - 11-22-2023

As a GM I am unable to make a mock draft for the DSFL draft that will be happening tonight. This kills me on the inside. So I figured I would relive the glory days with my class.

Now that my class has roughly half our careers over, it feels like a good time for a retrospective on our DSFL draft. These grades are honestly not going to be fair, because I’m grading them based on how successful the player went on to become instead of how useful they may have been on their DSFL team. Still, looking back it’s pretty wild to see how early or late some familiar faces went. I’m ripping these straight from the S40 draft page so the players will all have their original positions.

One thing I’ll be noting is each player’s earning level. As far as I’m aware, this isn’t down to a science, so I came up with my own incredibly arbitrary scale based on where my class is currently with TPE. There will be some players that are borderline- yes it sucks, I'll try to make note of it. The cutoff has to be somewhere! It looks like this:

Max: 1000+
High: 800-999
Mid: 600-799
Low: 400-599
OLineman: 250-399
For 250> I will just be listing the TPE they got to.

Other things I am basing my grades on are position, draft position, personal bias/experience, and in some cases league jobs.

Lastly, I’m not in most locker rooms. I don’t know how much most players contribute to their team. If you think I’ve done a teammate dirty, leave a comment giving them a shoutout so they get the respect they deserve!

Letsa go!

Round One

R1P1: aeonsjenni - Mary Marie - S
TPE: Max
Grade: S

I would still call Jenni the most deserving person to go 1OA in our class. I couldn’t imagine this place without her here. In fact, when I started, she had already established herself so well that I didn’t even know she was just as new as me. She picked up on things fast and was a stellar pick for Bondi Beach. She’s been holding down the fort as the Buccaneers GM for quite some time now too. While Jenni is no longer leading the TPE pack, she is by all means still a max earner and there is a reason she stands out among this stacked class.

R1P2: wizard_literal - Dub Redd - DT
TPE: Max
Grade: S

Not to get overly repetitive this early into my review, but wiz was also incredibly deserving of going 1OA- and this was reflected in the ISFL draft in which he did just that! Much of what I said for Jenni I could say for wiz, and my dreams came true when they both combined forces to write my favorite media pieces as a young rookie: From the Offices of Mouse and Wizard. Wiz went on to become GM of Tijuana for some time before becoming GM of the New York Silverbacks. I believe he was one of the first from our class to make the leap to GMing in the ISFL, although I haven’t done my research to see the order. Lastly, I’ll never forget Dub Redd’s original iconic signature. Slam dunk home run touchdown goal pick.

R1P3: Jumbo - Loose Cannon - LB
TPE: Max
Grade: S

What Jumbo lacks in style he makes up for with pure strength. Loose Cannon might be the most accurate name for this player, as he still sits at the top of the class in TPE. With 38 more TPE than the next highest player, no one is going to catch him at this point. He ended up switching from Linebacker to Safety for the Silverbacks, but aside from that Jumbo is still the same Jumbo- the maxiest earning max earner. For that reason another S grade is appropriate to me.

R1P4: toofpete - Bruce White - DE
TPE: Max
Grade: S

One half of the power duo, toofpete immediately brought a new energy to the game. The Pumpin’ Hands Podcast with him and TheRake was (and still is) revolutionary for podcasting in the ISFL. In his rookie DSFL season, Bruce White dramatically tied the record for sacks in a season immediately cementing himself in the DSFL history books*. He GMd the Pythons for a couple seasons until recently stepping into the role of GM for the New Orleans Second Line in the ISFL. I am still eternally jealous he got to play 4-Square with Mike Evans. Between his earning, GMing, and podcasting, this is another easy S.

*depending on what name pops up when you refresh the season records page

R1P5: ElMerchanto - Craig Brand - TE
TPE: Mid
Grade: C

We approach our first miss, and it’s an incredibly unfortunate one. Pretty early on he made the switch to LB. For most of his career he was a top 5 earner in the class and an incredibly active discord user. He appears to have completely left the league. He earned so much in such a short amount of time that he still has more TPE than a decent chunk of currently active users, so it’s not a total miss. Still, what could have been.

R1P6: entreri - Artemis Entreri - WR
TPE: OLineman
Grade: F

This grade is a bit harsh, but it’s taking into account his position in the draft. This is one of the big reasons I added the blurb about the grades being unfair to the DSFL team that drafted them, because by all means Entreri was a great pick for the Ducks. Entreri was doing great for his first three months, but for some reason in May he went completely inactive. Upon opening his profile, it looks like he logged in back in October, but didn’t seem to do anything on the forums. I never had any interaction with this user, so maybe there are some behind the scenes things I am missing. But from my perspective, they seem to be someone with a lot of potential and I can’t blame any team that took them early.

R1P7: TheRake - Rico Savage - S
TPE: Max
Grade: S

The other half of the power duo, and an old Norfolk teammate of mine. I’ve always felt Rake was a bit underrated when compared to his Pumpin’ Hands buddy, as being on a team with him has shown me that he is a total LR guy. The scouting reports he would make on opposing teams are something I still dream about to this day. I also very rarely enter the football talk and rant channel, so do with that information what you will. Rico has actually eclipsed Bruce in TPE… do with that information what you will

R1P8: FireworkFuse - Jason Steele - DT
TPE: Mid
Grade: B+

This was the hardest one to grade so far, and another reason that my TPE scale is kinda stupid. Firework’s TPE is ridiculously close to being in the “High” tier and will probably make the jump with one more update. I’m also biased as a teammate with Firework on the Crash because I know he’s another awesome LR guy that has served as a team captain. One of the first to jump on negs for food takes everytime without fail. While his earning has slowed down just a bit, he was still a great pick and worthy of going in the 1st round.

Round Two

R2P1: Memento Mori - Oliver Tolliver - WR
TPE: High
Grade: A

The first recreate off the board, and a fairly deserving one at that. I don’t think I’ve interacted much with Mori, but I believe I remember them being a rookie mentor during my first season. While I do think with a class this stacked this pick probably should have been another new create, that’s just personal bias and Mori was about as solid of a choice as you can get.

R2P2: CROney3 - Benji Aguilera - WR
TPE: Max
Grade: S

Croney’s awesome and I don’t care what anyone has to say about it! Early on I don’t think we interacted much because I believe he lived in the casino world, but he’s a great user that has recently become GM of Tijuana following their Ultimini win. To be honest, I’m surprised he didn’t take over sooner. A great pick in the 2nd round that would have been worthy of a 1st.

R2P3: DL14 - Diego Lopez Alonso - WR
TPE: Retired
Grade: ???

We’ll never see how Diego v1 would have done, but there’s a reason he went in the 2nd round of an absolutely insane class. I am excited to grade Diego The Sequel in a few seasons.

R2P4: UptownCord - John Stark VIII - LB
TPE: Max
Grade: S

Uptown speedran everything he possibly could. Before I figured out how to make my first update he was already in HO. Before I knew what a war room was he was already GMing the Pythons. Before I could tie my shoes he was, again, already GM of the Otters. I really don’t know how he fell to the 2nd round.

R2P5: Valucious - Chris Mahlstedt - DE
TPE: 50
Grade:  F- minus

*Snoop Dogg voice* “Who?” Dude never even made an update holy yikes

R2P6: LtHudz - Billy Jor-El - DT
TPE: Max
Grade: S

Hudz was a total steal to get at the end of the 2nd round, and this was reflected with him going 3OA in the ISFL draft. He legitimately does it all, and given my interactions with him in the DSFL GM chat I can easily tell he is about as wonderful of a LR presence as you can ask for. He has since switched to CB but I’ll always remember him as a big defensive tackle!

R2P7: Weaves - Kadarius Claypool ll - CB
TPE: High
Grade: A
Weaves, also known as Kadarius Claypool double-L, was a solid and reliable 2nd round pick. It looks like his earning may have dropped just a bit as I remember him consistently being around the top 10 earners in the class, but he still earns very well and has been a great defensive anchor for the Wraiths. I spent a lot of time with him in Norfolk so I know he’s a fun guy to have in the LR. Overall he was pretty great value for a late 2nd round pick.

R2P8: jdc4654 - Ray Baker - KP
TPE: Max
Grade: S

Ray Baker is a 1OA pick trapped in a kicker’s body. This is said with complete respect.

Round Three

R3P1: crash1005 - Rolud Onyxgut - DE
TPE: Max
Grade: S

Crash is such a fun guy to have on the, uh, Crash. He’s the current defensive captain, has switched to LB, and is a rookie mentor. I’m glad I’m on a team with him because I didn’t talk much to him at the DSFL level and he’s just such a nice dude. His earning has also exploded and now he’s only 6 TPE away from overtaking me so I am feeling quite threatened.

R3P2: baz1757 - Ezra Azazel - RB
TPE: Max
Grade: S

I always forget Azazel started as a RB. I also always forget baz dropped to the 3rd round. Another major steal, baz is a previous GM of the Luchadores and now GMs the Second Line with previously mentioned toofpete. An easy 1st rounder that was once again reflected in the ISFL draft. How did Chris Mahlstedt go before baz?

R2P3: nickWilliams - Nick Williams - TE
TPE: High
Grade: A

Another user I haven’t really interacted with, Nick seems fairly unassuming. He’s also right on the cusp of being a max earner- he’ll likely cross the 1000 TPE threshold with one more update. I have a lot of respect for him sticking it out as a TE too. A very solid pick early in round three.

R2P4:  Purpl3Spartan - Benjamin Durvernay - CB
TPE: High
Grade: A

Much of what I said for nickWilliams can be said here, except maybe the unassuming part. Duvernay has been a great player and just had a phenomenal season with the Outlaws. I’m not sure what he’s like in a locker room, but I imagine he has a good presence there. I don’t see him chat in the main servers as much as he used to, but overall another solid pick.

R3P5: Cycro - Justin Willis - OL
TPE: High
Grade: S

Call me biased, because I am. I know what Cycro means to his team. I know I just gave the previous two players lower grades with the same earning level. I will defend this grade with every ounce of my soul. The past couple seasons Cycro has quickly become one of my favorite teammates and people in the league in general. He’s been a team captain on the Crash as long as I can remember and has been a stellar GM for the Birddogs. I think he is probably severely underrated by those that haven’t been on a team with him and in a redraft he should go in the 1st round every time. Whenever he decides to hang up GMing, I think he would make an excellent rookie mentor.

R3P6: KlausGoatCasinos - Bill Cravy - CB
TPE: Low
Grade: C-

Bill Cravy is kind of the definitive low earner. While his earning might make him better suited for OL or TE, he can still make an impact in the slot as a CB. It looks like his earning really started to slow down around September, but he’s been steadily putting in updates still. By no means a bad pick, just maybe taken a round or two early. I think the league could use more people like KlausGoatCasinos to round out rosters better.

R3P7: jollyjiggs - Legs McMillion - WR
TPE: Max
Grade: Legs/10

Going in the 3rd definitely put a chip on my shoulder. I started out slower than the rest of my class because I was scared I’d mess up my update so I just didn’t enter one in for a long time. I also missed some early TPE that made it so I didn’t stack up as well at first with everyone else. Now I’m on the Crash as a CB and I GM the Seawolves. In a redraft I still don’t think I’d go in the 1st round, but I do think I’d move up to mid/late 2nd.

R3P8: Joe Shabado - Icepick O’Hullihan - S
TPE: Banned
Grade: F

Yeah……….. I’m glad I went before him. I will say he had a lot of TPE for our class from what I remember but… yeah. I don’t blame the Coyotes for this pick at the time.

Round Four

R4P1: furiousPanda - Jumbo Edward - DT
TPE: Mid
Grade: C+

I believe Panda was just the second recreate taken, and for a moment it looked like the sky was the limit. I’m not sure what happened, but it looks like they’ve been inactive since August. Still, they’ve earned enough TPE to make them a decent pick to start out the 4th round. They could always make a comeback as well.

R4P2: Dustillation - Synystyr Gates - CB
TPE: High
Grade: A

Getting such a reliable high earner this late into the draft earns an A grade from me. I believe that the ISFL isn’t their main league, so in my experience they aren’t around discord much but overall a good pick.

R4P3: LeSizz - Max Honestly - TE
TPE: Max (Honestly)
Grade: S

Arguably the steal of the entire draft. GM’d the Royals. Current GM of the Sailfish. One of the highest TPEs in the class. No idea how he dropped so far, I can only assume it’s because he started as a TE.

R4P4: Urq660 - DJ Maclean - LB
TPE: Max
Grade: S

I didn’t know Urq was a recreate until researching for this blurb lmao. In my experience a great user, I still see them in discord from time to time and they audit like a madman. Another 4th round steal.

R4P5:  Reno - Dr. Livesey - WR
TPE: Retired
Grade: ???

I think this is the exact point in the draft where there is a huge drop-off in the success of the picks. There are definitely still steals to come… but still. I don’t remember too much about this user other than I was mad they beat me in key receiving statistics our rookie year despite Livesey being retired lol. They have since recreated in S42 as Aleksandar Kovic where they are performing much better.

R4P6: BrontBront - Bigton Hammer - LB
TPE: 97
Grade: D-

Bront got off to a decent enough start, but went IA after 2 months in the league. They never seemed to put it together unfortunately. At this point if you earned TPE you don’t get a failing grade, lol.

R4P7: Greenbaynathan - Otto The Orange - TE
TPE:  Low
Grade: C+

A great user I enjoy having in the Norfolk LR as he’s always been helpful in the war room. He has since switched to receiver but I think I liked him more as TE. I know I gave furiousPanda the same grade but the drop off between the start of R4 and the end of R4 is so big that Otto comes off as good value here.

R4P8: packplaya - Bubba Chubb - OL
TPE: OLineman
Grade: C

The aptly named “OLineman” tier gives this OLineman a bump, as this is pretty good value for an OL at this point in the draft.

Round Five

R5P1: Tiktaalik - Bob Kickerson - KP
TPE: Mid (Barely)
Grade: B

Great value on a lower mid-earning kicker to start off the fifth round. I’m with him on the Crash and while he isn’t a super active person in the LR, he does drop in occasionally. Perfect activity for a kicker.

R5P2:  marccelaat - Logjammed McBobface - DE
TPE: Retired
Grade: ???

Ohhh what could have been. He was primed to be another late round steal. I don’t know really know what happened but maybe one day he’ll make a return to try again.

R5P3: WrittinDirectino - Brian Vincent-Vega - S
TPE: Mid
Grade: A

I’m pleasantly surprised to see Vincent-Vega is still around and earning quite well. I never see them chat anymore so I thought that the IA monster may have claimed another victim. Overall this is a great pick for a higher mid-earning safety.

R5P4: Number 82 - Emile Charles - WR
TPE: Max
Grade: S

How did 82 drop so far??? Clearly one of the standout recreates yet one of the last taken, I will never understand. Maybe I need to do more research, because this one is just baffling to me. Great pick though.

R5P5: Hemlock - Aleksander Reznikov - LB
TPE: 59
Grade: D-

A swing and a miss, and yet another player I don’t remember at all. There were still some good LBs on the board so I’m half tempted to give this one an F, but they at least got in an update.

R5P6: Gragg9 - Modest Mussorgsky - OL
TPE: OLineman
Grade: B

Mussorgsky is on the lower end of TPE for the OLineman tier, but we’re getting solidly into the hit or miss part of the draft so this was a pretty good hit. Another solid OLineman.

R5P7: MCHers - Garth Silver - S
TPE: 163
Grade: D+

Garth never made it out of the DSFL unfortunately. This was a good enough pick for the Seawolves, but thinking big picture there are still some stellar players left in the draft at this time.

R5P8: InternationalHouse - Offe Panic - DT
TPE: 119
Grade: D

This one was a bit unfortunate, as I actually remember this guy being decently active in the rookie chat for the first week or so. It just never panned out for him and I think he may have lost interest. Barely eclipsing 119 TPE, this was not a good pick. I also think it’s unlikely he was on the team the following season since he almost immediately went IA.

Round Six

R6P1: MrNoPass - Ivan Baldwin - CB
TPE: 170
Grade: D+

This one is also disappointing, as MrNoPass looked to be another steal with high potential. Once again it just didn’t work out and he never made it to the ISFL.

R6P2: bowl0 - Lloyd Bannings - QB
TPE:  High
Grade: S

Bannings has almost hit 1000 TPE and is pretty much max earning. This was a great pick for the Luchadores in the 6th round and Bannings is crushing it with the Otters to this day. I will never forget the inverted Bannings emote.

R6P3: Beegbeegyoshi - Beeg Beeg Yoshi Jr. - OL
TPE: Mid
Grade: A

I didn’t realize Yoshi had made such Beeg gains! This is the definition of a reliable OL and at this point in the draft it’s perfect value for one. Hell yeah Beeg Beeg Yoshi Jr. Hell yeah.

R6P4: Kunra99 - Trent Silverback - OL
TPE: OLineman
Grade:  B

Barely over the DSFL cap, but still able to provide value for the team. OL is the perfect position for low to mid earners. Solid pickup.

R6P5: kinglord29 - William Barkley - TE
TPE: 80
Grade: D-

Definitely no king and certainly not a lord, kinglord fizzled out after earning 80 TPE.

R6P6: Hallmonitor_20 - Kenny Szymborski - TE
TPE: Mid
Grade: A

Much like Yoshi, this is a great pickup at a position where you don’t need to max earn to be effective. Most seasons wish they could get a player like Szymborski this late into the 6th round.

R6P7: 18situationseans - Sean Robinson - WR
TPE: Max
Grade: S

Oh man this guy. He was always trailing me by like 100 TPE, and now he’s only behind me by 12? Wtf. At this point Sean is by far one of the biggest steals of the draft. Getting a max earning new user at the end of the 6th round is just insane. Bonkers, even. Sean doesn’t chat it up as much in the main league servers like he used to (I have never seen someone ham it up so much in the rookie server), but clearly his activity hasn’t slowed down. He also runs his own sim league and has improved his gfx skills by 1000% in less than a year. He was even a steal in the ISFL draft, despite moving up a few rounds. I have nothing but good things to say about Sean Robinson.

R6P8: jross - Rodney Rosadino - DE
TPE: OLineman
Grade: D+

He did make it over the cap, but barely. And he is not an OLineman so I unfortunately can’t give him that bump either. He’s also currently a free agent so he’s not being utilized in the sim whatsoever. He could probably still have something of a career if he were to come back and earn a bit more, but for now it looks like Rosadino is done.

Round Seven

R7P1: pazuzu - Scruffy The Janitor - DT
TPE: Low
Grade: C+

DT is a pretty unpopular position, so this is good value for a late round at a position that’s harder to find. I’m pleased to see Scruffy stuck around and has a career going because I remember seeing his name pop up during games our rookie season.

R7P2: tuddus - Spooky Diddler III - LB
TPE: 70
Grade: D-

And the award for worst player name goes to… I’m actually a bit surprised he never even made it to 100 TPE because from my recollection he had a decent season. Ah well, another one bites the dust I suppose.

R7P3: Dolphins - Bradley Welch Jr.
TPE: 186
Grade: D+

I might be biased against Dolphins. He, alongside myself, was hired to the DSFL Awards Committee as a general member. I tried so hard to get discussion going, and Dolphins just totally ghosted us making an already difficult thing to run even harder. He got to a decent enough TPE for a later round so maybe I’m being harsh on the grade scale but IDC ?

R7P4: Matlestud - Leo Stud - DE
TPE: 249
Grade: C-
This guy was in talks for DROTY I believe. He almost made the cap, too. Looks like he also made a switch to Safety at some point. Not sure what happened here. Still, not a terrible pick.

R7P5: ianthebalance - Pierce Hawthorne - TE
TPE: 82
Grade: D-

He was kinda active for a week or two, talked a lot during the prospect bowl, then bounced. He was a bit too much for me, kind of like his player. I just don’t think he ever “got it”.

R7P6: LiathTheSquirrel - Liath Squirrel - LB
TPE: Max
Grade: S

I believe this might be the last max earner of the draft! A huge steal late into the 7th round, and a great one at that. It’s wild to think a max earning LB made it to the 7th round, just wow. Shoutout to Liath for making every team that passed on them regret it.

R7P7: PonchoC - Nwoye Musa - DT
TPE: 84
Grade: D-

Another strong start, but another IA after a few weeks.

R7P8: titanfan34 - Eilliot Berry - RB
TPE: 241
Grade: C

Well, titanfan hasn’t logged on in months.. However, Cape Town just signed them to a contract to play in the upcoming season. So despite not hitting the cap, this once rookie sensation will get some quality ISFL action. This is a difficult one to grade, so I’ll settle on C since it’s such a late round.

Round Eight
Starting in this round, I’m only going to name the notable players. Sorry to kings such as Doggi O’Farraday, but you’ll get no mention here because we’re barely halfway through the draft.

R8P1: Toast - Burnt Toast - TE
TPE: OLineman
Grade: B

Toast has since changed their username to ToastCharger and their position to OL. This is a good switch and makes them worthy of a B grade to kick off the 8th round.

R8P2: juniped - Orga Panda - WR
TPE: Mid
Grade: A

Orga Panda, once a return specialist WR like myself, has decided to say goodbye to the days of having max agility and 60 speed in exchange for following in my footsteps and going the route of CB. This is a phenomenal pickup for the 8th round.

R8P5: infinitempg - Wolfie McDummy Jr. - WR
TPE: Max
Grade: S

I lied, this is the last max earner in the draft. Wolfie started out as a WR before switching positions with teammate NCADV RAINN to become QB. I was just a wee baby at the time so who knows what I really heard, but I believe Wolfie dropped as they were originally not going to spend any TPE until getting to the ISFL. That would make sense to me, because there is no other way an amazing user like infinite would drop so far.

R8P6: Kaliodyme - Faust Leercor - DE
TPE: Low
Grade: A-

Kaliodyme has carved out a good career so far, and is 1 TPE away from being considered a mid earner on my scale. They don’t really chat in the main servers and I don’t share any LR with them so I am happy to see they are still in the league going strong. Great pick for the 8th round.

R8P7: Quasi - Sticky Hands - RB
TPE: Mid
Grade:  A

Quasi made the switch from RB to CB after the ISFL draft and somehow managed to be a crazy steal both times. This is a higher mid-earning new user that was found at the end of the 8th round. Quasi is also someone I’ve been lucky enough to be on both of my teams with.

Round Nine

R9P1: Quisvilius - Amanda HugAndKiss - S
TPE: OLineman
Grade: B

I had totally forgotten about this player until they finally got called up this past season. Seeing someone from my class have their rookie season in S44 is wild to me, but they performed pretty well. Glad to see they were not a bust.

R9P4: LeatherneckMike
TPE: OLineman
Grade: B+

Same earning as the previous player, but at a more suitable position for that level of earning. Solid pick!

R9P5: MattBake12 - . The Riddler - WR
TPE: High
Grade: S

Another WR that has since converted to CB, Riddler was a huge steal in the 9th round. He just finished up a great season with the Silverbacks and looks to continue going strong. I hate the . in his name though. Hate it!

Round Ten

R10P4: BWIII - Forozka Duanei - WR
TPE: Mid
Grade: A

Another shocking recreate steal, this time in the 10th round. I’m not sure how a recreate with a reliable earning history drops this far, but BWIII was definitely a great pick at this point.

R10P6: Pfluginator5 - Frederick Carlson - DE
TPE: Low
Grade: B-

I have never interacted with this user, but getting a decent low earner in the 10th is a win to me.

Round Eleven

R11P8: thecanadiancanuck - Jake Jefferson - QB
TPE: Mid
Grade: A+

While a mid-earning QB was probably never going to make it to the ISFL, Jefferson proved the naysayers wrong by converting to RB. He most recently finished up a high-volume season and looks to keep the train moving. He probably wouldn’t have dropped so far if he was any other position going into the draft, but at the end of the day he was still a major steal.

Round Twelve

R12P2: LohnRanger - Joshua Mabry - OL
TPE: Low
Grade: A-

A reliably earning OLineman in the 12th round. I’m going to get really repetitive with these but I don’t think I need to say much more.

Round Thirteen

R13P5: crazylemire - Great Khali - OL
TPE: Mid
Grade: S

I don’t think just how late the 13th round is registers in this post because of all the players I am skipping. Over 100 users were taken before this player, and he’s earning well. Wowie.

Round Fourteen

Round Fifteen

Waiver Pickup Shoutouts
I don’t know how these all played out but I figured I would list them here in order of their earning as a shoutout to show I didn’t forget about them. These are just players in the TPE tracker that are a part of the S41 draft class but weren’t in the DSFL draft.

Ultimatedestroye - Kyle Crane
AK41 - Malik Brooks
Gumbaman - Terry Johnson
ScrambledEggs - King Dedede
Hordle - Damarcus Cole
Nasbase - Ryan Knock

Ranking the Biggest Steals

1. Sean Robinson
Sean might not have been the last max earner taken, but he was a new user and I really think he proved everyone wrong by earning as much as he has. I’m really proud of him and I fully think he deserves his placement on my list as biggest steal.

2. Wolfie McDummy Jr.
I had a hard time ranking these next couple. It’s difficult for me to justify putting McDummy here when there’s somewhat of an explanation for why they fell, but at the end of the day they were the last max earning user taken off the board. At the very least, a team could have taken a chance sooner.

3. Liath Squirrel
Honestly very similar to Sean and taken relatively close to them in the draft, I gave the nod to Sean though because he is a new user and I think it’s more unlikely you get a max earning new user than a max earning recreate. Still, very huge steal in the draft.

4. Great Khali
The last member of the S41 draft class to find success, and he did it well. I might have considered another name here if he was just barely scraping by, but 13th round or not he’s still a solid mid-earning player. Depending on how you view steals, some might even argue he deserves 1st.

5. . The Riddler
The highest earning player that comes after Wolfie in the draft. While Wolfie may have somewhat of an explanation for dropping, Riddler has none! This was probably the most shocking player to drop so far IMO.

Great recap and what a throwback I'll have to add this back into my rotation.
