*The New Look Yellowknife Wraiths - TubaDeus - 01-12-2024
A few seasons ago, the ISFL opened up a merch shop. There were some cool items (acrylic blocks, socks), there were some weird items (bedsheets, shower curtains), but all of them were plastered with all the incredible ISFL logos.
Except for Yellowknife.
You see, the Wraiths logo, while among the most iconic in the league, was almost directly copied from a real life logo. Sadly we were not able to track down the original owner, which means we were not able to get permission to use our logo on official league merch. Let me tell you, it sucked. I wanted nothing more than to buy some Wraiths merch. I wanted to post my acrylic block to the merch channel. I wanted to wear cozy Wraith socks by the fireplace. And I wasn't alone. The Yellowknife brass immediately dug into figuring out a new logo. Only problem was, how do you replace such an iconic logo? Yellowknife is consistently considered to have among the best branding in the league so we didn't want to change the fundamental feel, but we needed something if we were going to get in on league merch.
It was an arduous task that took most of a year, but we've finally found our answer. Huge thanks to @Amidships for the base design, as well as @homercrates for some final touch-ups. Ladies and gentlemen, it is my genuine pleasure to reveal to you the new look Yellowknife Wraiths!

I love it. The little Wraith has grown up and is now looking down on us. It's got a little more of a menacing feel- gone is the open mouth look of carefree bliss. This Wraith is here for championships (and souls)
