Berklee's Brad Brings Beatdown to BC

In a stunning upset, Berklee College of Music's club football team the Jazz Cats defeat the Boston College Eagles 35-9 in their charity exhibition match played today at Boston College. At the forefront of the victory was Jazz Cats captain and wide receiver Brad Woof, who finished the game with 9 receptions, resulting in 194 yards and 4 touchdowns. Woof seemed untouchable in the early going, quickly turning his first 4 receptions into 117 yards and 2 touchdowns in the first half, and the Eagles simply couldn't recover from there. After a very successful 7-1 season, no one expected the Eagles to drop this one to Berklee, even knowing that Berklee had been as yet undefeated in intramural club play.

"I don't want to talk about it," said BC Coach Frank Doherty after the game. The rest of the team refused to comment.

Massachusetts local Brad Woof started the Jazz Cats football club three years ago during his sophomore year at Berklee College of Music, where he was studying Speed Jazz. "Honestly it was just going to be a hobby," explained Woof, "but it really turned into something that we all loved and we got really into it." Since founding the club Woof and the Jazz Cats have not lost a single matchup, and most would agree it is due to their captain's impressive skill with the ball.

The charity event upset created such a media uproar that several professional teams have reached out to Woof for meetings, and he is now expected to join the Season 46 DSFL draft.
