To discover the ISFL means to search up "simulation football league" on Google and to scroll down to the fourth clickable link. It takes hours of research to refine your search query, think about what you want to discover in a simulation league, and then ultimately decide that the ISFL is one of the 15 simulation leagues that you think you can include in your life, which also happens to include working 2 full-time jobs, paying off a mortgage at 7.5% APR, child support payments, and money set aside for alcohol to help drink the pain away. That means it takes a large amount of dedication and desire to even dream about entering a league as prestigious as this, where we can all become legends from the couch, and whine about how the rest of our team is not performing up to our standards. Some choose to be keyboard warriors, while others dream of becoming eternal rulers of the world. ISFL players dream of a world where they own a monopoly on the landscape, endlessly banter about player performance, and share their favorite anime waifu. These former two are dreams of the past that were ended by a torn hammy in a peewee football league 35 years ago, and now we all choose to bully each other in this dog-eat-dog world known as the ISFL. Only we know more than anything that all of us are dawgs, but some of us are dachshunds while others are pitbulls. Everyone loves to flame the bot players whenever are on the field, as this is how we show the AI that there is a hierarchy in this society. It is not that we chose the ISFL, it's that the ISFL chose us. They entered our homes and took us captive at gunpoint until our TPE was "sufficient enough". The owners know what they're doing
