TIJ Tijuana Ring of Honour TIJ

Another season another group of awesome players and users to induct to the Ring of Honour. As always some GMs and war room members past and present have voted on this ballot of Tijuana alumni who have retired from the ISFL. The voters were advised to consider both the player's Tijuana career as well as their career afterwards in the ISFL, but it was up to the voters discretion on how they weighted each. Consideration of the player's user was also left to the voters. Players needed 2/3 of votes to be inducted and 1/3 of votes to remain on the ballot. We once again have an extremely exciting class of players being inducted today, congratulations to you all!

Here's our new inductees;

Notes from the author:
Each ballot seems to create it's own theme and this season's ballot looks to celebrate some of the amazing quarterbacks we've had come through Tijuana and go on to make a big impact in the ISFL. Previously QB had not been a position Tijuana was known for producing a lot of but in more recent years that looks to be changing.
We have four new users getting players inducted. Swanky and Beaver have their second players being inducted. Sloth becomes the first user to have three players inducted to our Ring of Honour, which is well deserved as the biggest influence on the Tijuana locker room and culture as a non-gm user over the years.
Lonnie Jackson and Live Laughlove become the sixth and seventh players to be voted in unanimously, both achieved DSFL MVP while on the team so no surprises there.
Another offensive lineman in Cade Williams being inducted means OL takes number one spot after being tied with wide receiver and linebacker. This will be on brand for anyone who remembers "the wall" era of Tijuana football.
After 7 ballots of voting Blackford Oakes was finally inducted! I touched on how funny it was he kept getting enough votes to stay on the ballot but not enough to get in last time. The weird journey to get here is definitely reminiscent of the player themselves. Shoutout to anyone else who was around back in the single digit seasons.
CK once again did a brilliant job with the jerseys, I can't thank him enough for his help every time we do this.
