Some venting and an announcement - WildfireMicro - 02-08-2024
Hey guys and gals and everything in between WildfireMicro here with some news.
As people who are close to me may or may not know, I haven't exactly been in the best mental headspace lately. Whether that be due to sim stuff or other factors, I just been going through a lot of shit lately that has been taking a toll on my mental health. My job has also been taking a bit of a toll on my Sim time, and yes I know that real life will always come first before sim stuff. I also feel like I've lost my creative spark when it comes to sim leagues, and it really bothers me that I have not been able to do as much stuff as I used to.
I have decided to leave VHL and PBE today so that should help take some of the load off my shoulders, but the big announcement is this:
I'm going to retire Speedy Gizmo after the Ultimus.
I know that this is definitely not the first time I've retired a player early but this time I have a plan: my next player is going to be a journeyman Cornerback player who basically takes short contracts and constantly has new environments and places to see. I just feel like I need something to get the spark I used to have back, and I really hope you all understand.
As for the render, I'm thinking of calling the player Adam Journey, but RN I'm stumped on a render. Maybe it will be a famous NFL player or a current one, or maybe I'll give up and do another anime or game thing. I'm leaning towards real player though.
Again I'm really sorry for who this disappoints, but I feel like a fresh start will be what's best for me. I love you ISFL, and always remember to take care of your mental health.

Don't let sim stuff negatively affect your mental. This place is designed to do the complete opposite of that.
