Dear readers, it is with a heavy heart that we make this announcement.
Effective immediately, the ISFL Weekly Mirror will be ceasing all journalistic operations and closing its doors for good. After two wonderful seasons of producing Gemini-winning, fact-oriented journaLism that selflessly sought to shine a light on the darkest corners of the league and enrich the minds of the average ISFL reader, mounting legal pressures and thinning operating margins have caused the Mirror’s business model to become unsustainable.
As such, the two Senior Correspondents, Jreed12 and griis, will be stepping down from their posts immediately. The ISFL Weekly Mirror still remains protected under copyright, and anybody who attempts to publish media using Weekly Mirror branding without the express written consent of the Weekly Mirror will be prosecuted under the furthest extent of the law. The ISFL Weekly Mirror would also like to acknowledge that UptownCord is not and never has been the CEO, and wiZardliteral does not own any stock in the company, because we are privately traded. Any Weekly Mirror imposters should be dealt with at once and reported.
Jreed is planning to turn himself in to the feds after pleading guilty to yap-napping HON TE Tyler Higbee II, and forcing him to write media in a dungeon for weeks on end. The Weekly Mirror is appalled by this behavior and certainly never would condone it. Furthermore, Jreed plans to plead guilty to attempting to stage a coup on the Portland Pythons, extorting BER GMs Dewalt and Gadget, embezzlement of ISFL cash funds, attempted fraudulent purchase of the Prospect Bowl, as well as dozens of counts of conduct detrimental to the league. Griis pleads no contest to any wrongdoing. The estates of both individuals ask for no further questions at this time.
As we close this exciting chapter in media lore, we would like to thank our dedicated readership for sticking with us at every turn, and trusting the Weekly Mirror to deliver Allegations First and Fastest™.
