*Mock Draft - deadlunatic - 05-03-2024

Well here we are. it is time for another draft. And I get to be in the draft. Interesting. As it stands I have no idea where I will go in draft number or team.
I have been scouted by at least one team. Most likely it has been more than the one, but I do not think I have been scouted by all the teams. Which leads me to believe some teams are just not interested in the best wide receiver of the draft. The reincarnation of HOF receiver Walker. But that is fine, not every team is in a position to need a player of my caliber. Some teams are doomed to being sub par in certain aspects. I can not comment on which teams that may or may not be.

Round 1 Pick 1
Willeh Strong - WetWilleh - LB
With the first pick of the draft, the Yeti are looking for a top tier user in a strong position. I would say based on what I have seen, Willeh meets both of these. Every team needs good line backer play in a player who will earn a lot. Most often if you have the first pick of the draft, you either made a good trade or you need every single good player you can get to not have that pick the next season. That said, it seems like a solid pick, you never know how well a player will earn over their lifetime, but usually can get a solid read on them.

Round 1 Pick 2
Adolin Collins - infern8 - LB
Two picks, two line backers. Sounds like collusion to draft the line backers at the top, not sure who to blame for this, but apparently it is a position that teams feel they need. Who would guess, it does appear that line backers do be getting stats. So, I guess they are kind of important for dot ball. I am not sure that there is much difference in actual potential of the top few line backers, it really comes down to the order in which each team has them listed and who gets taken first and all that. Most likely a solid pick if he goes here.

Round 1 Pick 3
Seer lal - omg - WR
I know Austin needs wide receiver help going forwards and I think the overall opinion is that seer is the top wide out prospect in this draft (even if I disagree). A top earning wide receiver is pretty important in the long run for a team. I can't say you have to have one to be successful, but it sure helps when you know your top wide out can beat their top corner in one on one coverage. I say this as an enjoyer of dot ball, a good wide out is the best thing on the field. Granted I might also be slightly biased... then again, who cares if I am biased, it is a solid way to look at things. If he goes here, a really good pick and I will be slightly jelly in the end.

That is all I have for the moment. Will pick this up later, but I only have so much time to type before I got to go drive around looking to raise my draft stock. Which I sincerely doubt this helps me at all, I did have some solid conversations with a some different teams, so If I am lucky, maybe I go in the fourth or fifth round and get to be a steal, assuming I continue to earn and make money and all that. Also I did purchase my tier six equipment today, so I am not quite as far behind as I most likely look like I am in tpe. Either way should be a fun draft. Good luck all!
