*Prospect Media Post - Seven Arrows - 06-27-2024

Short-time follower.  First-time user.  My player, Golden Ericksen, a wide receiver prospect, was referred to the ISFL/DSFL by his friends at PBE.  Golden's friend, Troy Murphy, is in his third season with the Cancun Toros.  So, we're used to simulation play on that platform and getting acquainted with this one.  There are some differences in negotiating this platform, but the Rookie Discord's help has been outstanding.

Golden's career at the University of Arizona was a stellar one.  He was the team's primary target in his senior season and led the league in receptions with 92 and yards gained at 1543. He also had 11 touchdowns.  Golden was proud to represent the Pac-12 in its last season of existence.  Golden was first-team all-league at WR and was also a second-team All-American.  Ericksen is looking forward to a long career in the ISFL and intends to work hard to develop his skills against the best players at this level.  Golden also will be a great teammate as he was at the UA where he was captain of the team.

Ericksen is of Norwegian stock.  His parents immigrated to the United States before he was born and is one of 5 siblings.  He grew up in the Sacramento Valley, attended Pierce High School, and was awarded a scholarship to the University of Arizona as a three-star prospect.  His parents became farmers in the Valley and Golden spent a lot of time working with his father, mother, and siblings on the farm. Golden was a four-sport star in high school.  Besides football, he was a forward on the basketball team, a first baseman on the baseball team, and participated on the track team as a high jumper.  Ericksen's best jump was 6-11 and he finished third at the California state track and field meet in his senior year.

Golden is looking forward to the draft and in the meantime participating in the Prospect League.
