Diet and nutrition are a very vital part of the life of a football player. So, today, we will discuss the does and don'ts of pregame meals for that group of players known as the offensive linemen.

Let's start with the basics. Pancakes! It's called a pancake block, after all. Get a good six stack of pancakes and then put some butter and maple syrup on top of it. Put those pounds on, fat guy! You want to have that weight to go with those pancake blocks.

And steak. Throw some protein in with those pancakes. You have to be a meat eater to be coming off that offensive line. Those defensive ends you will be blocking are going to want to eat your quarterback for lunch, so you want to be hungrier than they are. Make sure your steak isn't cooked anywhere past medium rare. You need a little taste of blood to get you hyped before the game.

Do no, I repeat, do not have one of those Tijuana burritos as a pregame meal! You can never predict when they will kick in. When they do, you won't be able to block Thurman Waters and your quarterback will be sacked for a safety!

And, last but not least, don't eat a salad. You are an offensive lineman. Never eat a salad.
