*The Year of Zen - lock180 - 07-14-2024 As lightning and thunder roll across the sky, I type this brief message during the witching hour, the hour when the veil between the supernatural and living is at its thinnest and when the evils of the world are most likely to present themselves..................... You may remember the Year of the Joker and if you don’t…. It is probably for the better. The summary of the Year of the Joker is that it ended in a crushing 6-14 loss in the Ultimus despite an MVP level performance from Zenzeroni Xystarch II. Throughout the season I would go on to let’s say…… voice my opinion on how things were playing out through various media pieces. I am a despicable fool at my core and I unleash that tirade of awfulness ruthlessly every single season none more so than during the Year of the Joker. However, we have reached season 49 lest any of you forget it. And that is just the thing. Season 49 has been brushed aside as an afterthought. Season 50 is on the horizon and people are already celebrating. It reminds me of department stores putting out Christmas items in the middle of summer. Season 49 has been forgotten and that is why I have declared it to be the Year of Zen. A calm throughout the ISFL as people sit in anticipation of season 50. THAT is where Zenzeroni will play at his best. No one will remember season 49. The year in which the Yellowknife Wraiths won the Ultimus and Zenzeroni was the kicker of the year. But it will happen. No matter what happens during this season I have decided to abstain from any angry written media. @jreed12 I still have my article that will be posted later this week but that is something different entirely. I will not get angry at my team, the other team, myself or anyone/thing else this entire season because it is the Year of Zen. There is no need to be angry because season 49 will be but a distant memory. In fact for many it already is. and to kick things off I am happy to announce I have made the pro bowl! I am so honored that Draft Day Sports was able to see my work ethic and hard work over my actual performance and select me to the pro bowl team. Big shoutout to everyone else on the pro bowl team and I look forward to an amazing season!
