Getting to Know Senior Seau
The next great linebacker hails from Los Angeles and his name is Senior Seau. Senior was an all-around impact player in high school playing both linebacker and fullback being a dual threat badass. Both his high school and college coaches were all asked what was one word to describe him and they all said the same thing: grit. He loves to compete and lives for playing the game of football. Senior Seau got a full ride scholarship to USC (University of Southern California) to play linebacker for the Trojans. During his 3-year career with the team, he filled up the stat sheet with interceptions, sacks, forced fumbles, and a couple touchdowns. Seau was a two-time First Team All-American at linebacker in the country during college.
Now that Senior Seau has gotten through his initial three seasons in college he is eligible to go pro. This was a very easy decision for Senior to make as this is his dream and he is well within reach and his hype is at an all time high.
With the Developmental Simulation Football League being the first step towards making it to the International Simulation Football League, Senior knows he wants to spend as little time as possible down. He prefers to be a one and done in the DSFL so that he can immediately start working towards making the ISFL Hall of Fame and being a difference maker for any team that wants to take him.
Senior does have a couple stipulations for drafting him (this is moreso for ISFL teams but would be beneficial for any DSFL teams that want to take him to keep in mind).
- Senior Seau is not a 4-3 linebacker. If you run this, I am sorry but this is not a system that he wants to play in and one that is not meant for him.
- As previously mentioned, Senior Seau wants an instant call-up to get as many seasons in the ISFL as possible so that he can begin building his legacy as soon as possible.
- OOC: I have enjoyed my time with the New York Silverbacks but after being there with two players - I want to experience a different locker room and meet new people in the league. Therefore, I do not want to go back to New York this time (no shade towards them but I feel like I need to publicly say this for any interested teams). My goal is to always max earn and try to be active in the locker room and war room (if i’m invited). As long as the team that drafts me has a plan and can meet the first two stipulations, I intend on spending my entire career with that team.
Anyway, Senior is going to get back to the weight room now that he was able to meet with his agent and talk to the media about his expectations/stipulations. He looks forward to the rest of this current season with the Tijuana Luchadors and then he can shift his focus to the DSFL draft and any scouting conversations that may come his way.
