Holden Affart sat down to talk with the media after today's practice.
Q: Let's start with the huge win over Bondi. You were making all kinds of huge plays. A sack. Forced a fumble. Got an interception.
A: The important thing is the win. We still have a shot at the playoffs because of that win.
Q: Give us a rundown of that playoff shot for the fans at home.
A: It all starts with Week 13 against Minnesota. We have to win that game or it is over. Then we have to scoreboard watch and cheer hard for Portland to beat Dallas. If Dallas wins that game, it's over for us. But, if we beat Minnesota and Portland beats Dallas, we will be playing Dallas in Week 14 in what amounts to a playoff game. The winner of that game will go to the playoffs and the loser will stay home."
Q: "How are you feeling about any personal awards?"
A: "If I am being honest, I don't think I have the stats to be in contention for these awards. I would personally go with Hordle from Dallas as your defensive award winner. I just hope we can knock them out of the playoff race in Week 14."
Q: "What about the ISFL Draft? Any thoughts?"
A: "I have a few teams contact me and I know it's coming up but, for now, my focus is on winning these last two games and getting the Luchadores into the playoffs!"
