There's nothing to kill a deep prospect pool like waiting, so rather than have the rookies for nsfl s5 wait around, have the draft for them occur sooner rather than later so as to retain membership overall.

is there a problem with people that are drafted into the NSFL, but are being sent down? not 100% on the whole process yet.

i can kiiiiiiiiiiiinda see what ur saying, but idk if a, what, 1-2 day extra wait is gonna make the difference.
plus as a DSFL GM, it would be frustrating for me to draft a guy in the first round, and then see him get drafted to a team that is going to start him in the NSFL

I think the way it currently is will give a much needed boost to the DSFL. Almost all the S4 players will get sent down and the DSFL teams will also have all the S5 players for at least one season, that's a really good infusion of talent.

Agreed with this.
I think it gives the DSFL a chance to do it’s thing.
But I also see the case for wanting to do the S5 draft early... maybe we can do the draft early but the players still go to the DSFL for all of S4 and can’t be called up until S5 as originally intended? That way they can join locker rooms but we’d still be fulfilling the “1 year in the DSFL” thing.

Also this is the s5 draft, not s4, so we'd have the s5 guys drafted first, basically keeps the new blood alive and active and they cannot join the NSFL for a whole season anyways.

The players who are newly xreating will be S5 NSFL Draft. Even if we had DSFL draft before NSFL they still wouldn’t get into locker rooms until nex year. The draft classes are completely seperate.
