Introducing the S49 All-Rookie Team! - Tmoney6996 - 09-06-2024 Please split payment between @Brad Woof@Assistant to the POR GM@lemonoppy@TubaDeus@Soviet Sexpot@UptownCord Welcome back everyone and welcome to the 6th annual All-Rookie ISFL Team! As with previous seasons teams, we're aiming to highlight the upcoming stars in the league, as viewed by their peers. Ultimately, showing that the league is in good hands moving forward! To recap the process, we aim to follow a similar, if not identical structure to that of the All-Pro team. But with a limited number of rookies, we opt to vote for a singular team. Additionally, due to there being some positions at the ISFL level with no rookies in a season, we opt to omit those positions from voting. We do expect the overall roster construction for the All-Rookie team to change slightly year over year, as the rookie designation can be quite volatile season over season. Special shout-out to everyone involved who makes this happen season over season! For S49, we voted on the following positions: QB RB WR TE1 TE2 IOL DL LB1 LB2 LB3 Secondary 1 Secondary 2 Secondary 3 K/P This seasons team consists of 14 members, and it may be our most hotly contested vote to to date! There were some excellent performances by our rookies this season, and many of them deserve a shoutout for the work they put into their players. As with previous seasons, if you have any questions about the voting process, or we handled ties, do not hesitate to reach out! I'm always more than happy to discuss the inner workings of the votes came to be and overall process. With our current voting group, there is the possibilities of ties, but these are discussed by the committee post-hoc. If you'd like a further breakdown on how we determine the winners of those ties, feel free to reach out to me! Additionally, if you don't want us to have ties, let me know, and we can see about adding some new members! Let’s take a look at the S49 All-Rookie team! It was a pretty tall order getting off the ground a few seasons ago, but happy for everyone past and present for getting things up and running initially. Hopefully, I can be a little more consistent in getting this posted closer to when the awards show actually goes out, but that kind came and went this offseason! Lastly, as I mentioned above, our numbers are currently in a good spot, however, if you feel passionately about things like this and like stats, feel free to reach out to me and ask about the joining the committee. I'd love to avoid ties moving forward (even if it does bring about some great discussion from everyone). Things can, and often, get a little messy, and if it's something we can avoid, as well provide others users a chance to help award deserving players than I am all for it! Why 2 TEs and not 2 WR or RB? Just the distribution of the player pool of rookies? Are there many 2TE sets in ISFL? Just the distribution of the player pool of rookies? Are there many 2TE sets in ISFL?That's a good question! There were only 2 rookie WRs this year, and 6? rookie TEs, so the team made more sense in that format. I don't believe we'll see that many TEs moving forward though.
