*DSFL QB Season Projections - g2019 - 09-20-2024

Hey all,

I thought it would be a fun exercise to extrapolate DSFL QB passing performances out to full season projections based on their current pace to get a look at how things could shake out and give QBs some goals to shoot for! I'll be listing them in order of projected season quarterback rating.

1. Dexter Morgan (LON)
340/560 - 60.7%
4886 yards
35 TDs
0 INTs
109.87 QBR

Let's just call it like it is...Morgan is off to an insane start to the season, and while he's due to finally throw a pick one of these weeks, this is oddly remeniscent of his rookie campaign where he took home MVP. With strong weapons around him in Summers, Cool, Eackman, and Sakarias, I would not be at all surprised to see him repeat as MVP when all is said and done, but obviously there is a lot of season left.

2. Cyrus MacDougall (MIN)
343/550 - 62.4%
4354 yards
39 TDs
14 INTs
100.07 QBR

MacDougall is off to a fast start in his rookie campaign as Minnesota has found itself needing to take to the air more and more while chasing games in the 2nd half. While the TD pace may be sustainable to an extent, I expect more INTs to follow as Cyrus has not yet hit capped build. MacDougall will need Cinco and Kyle to keep putting in work on the ground, while The Jet and Turk will need to keep up their Pro Bowl level of play. Watch for more action in the passing game from Duke Silverback as well.

3. Pasta Rockmann (POR)
284/487 - 58.3%
3619 yards
32 TDs
7 INTs
97.56 QBR

Rockmann has been very efficient in the air, getting a lot done with the 2nd fewest attempts out of any team running only 1 QB. Wilder will continue to be their horse on the ground, and he'll hope that Wickerd and Myers can continue their great play at receiver, with the blocking TE Hilnka chipping in as well.

4. Confurius DeThwilson (BBB)
389/644 - 60.4%
4043 yards
35 TDs
7 INTs
92.16 QBR

With Sevrin Quinn struggling to get things going on the ground, the Bucs have been leaning on DeThwilson, as evidenced by his 644 attempts. He's shown impressive ball control and delivered some huge touchdown passes thus far, and will continue to look for Ericksen and Novak, who are absolutely flying high so far this season.

5. Zach Vega Jr. (DAL)
319/648 - 49.2%
4981 yards
42 TDs
18 INTs
90.31 QBR

Gunslinger. That's the word that comes to mind when looking at the absurd stats Vega is putting up thus far. On pace for almost 5000 yards and 42 touchdowns, DAL has relied on Vega's arm to help their offense move the chains, even at the risk of INTs. Fasttrack has been playing out of his mind at receiver, and Vega will continue to look for him and Boudreaux especially, as their running back continue to gain TPE and become more competitive.

6. Peaquod Von Turbo (TIJ)
133/273 - 48.7%
2324 yards
21 TDs
14 INTs
82.43 QBR

Our first QB on the list who is splitting snaps, Von Turbo has seen more passing action than his counterpart and shown impressive yardage and TD totals considering his split usage. Kal Summers Jr is obviously the big receiving threat, but Von Turbo loves to get Carl Wheezer involved as well, and Quincy Robinson is already a horse on the ground.

7. Jack Cannon (NOR)
378/690 - 54.8%
4788 yards
28 TDs
18 INTs
79.31 QBR

Last season's MVP find himself in a bit of a different spot this season, as he lost some huge receiving options to ISFL callups. He's still got Ganjasmoke, but options after him are thin, with Karl Idlewyld and Ben Yay still in their rookie seaosns and gaining TPE. Despite this situation, Cannon is trying to use his arm to keep Norfolk in games, leading the league in passing attempts (by 42 passes!) in projections. If Norfolk wants to be a playoff competitor, it's clear that Cannon will need to up the TD production and cut down on the picks, while keeping that yardage up.

8. No Pix (KCC)
249/462 - 53.9%
3493 yards
21 TDs
18 INTs
77.42 QBR

The KCC signal caller has been bitten by the INT bug recently, although he's throwing for good yardage considering his attempts (fewest in the league amongst solo QBs). The backfield is looking formidable with McQueen and Who, and I expect Pix's numbers will improve as the season goes on and his top receiving option, Jeff the Landshark, nears DSFL cap.

9. Jack Crackerjack (TIJ)
123/210 - 58.6%
1544 yards
4 TDs
7 INTs
73.99 QBR

Crackerjack has struggled in terms of TD:INT ratio, but also has the most limited sample size of the QB crop, with by far the fewest attempts of anybody. A few strong games can completely turn these projections on their head, and Tijuana will hope he can do just that.

RE: DSFL QB Season Projections - Megsychan - 09-20-2024

Are any QBs in this list scramblers/dual threats? If so, do you have seperate rushing totals for them?
