Since it is a non glamorous role and there already appears to be a shortage. I thought this might spark sign ups to at least consider the positions.

The Ironman Rule
If you sign up as a lineman you get an endurance bonus and you can play both O line and D line.

Just a thought- Ghost

To be honest that's a really cool idea

Ricky Maddox approves of this proposal.

It's a cool proposal but the problem is that the attributes used between O-Line and D-Line are very different.
It'd be tough to implement. You'd have to make them basically really good all over the place.

And as it stands we allow players to play at any position, so if someone were to get extremely good all around, they'd be the most valuable players on the field.

It'd just bring a lot of balance issues.

Shit thought I was on to something here..oh well.

I'd be inclined to ask if they can have a twin system implemented until more O-Linemen get created?

Not to the point where they are completely overpowered on the other side of the field, but it can help with a bit of the balancing, if the defenders are going to go up against a majority of bots, that's not gonna help the offense balance the defense, is it?

Either that or each Owner/GM can implement one extra O-Linemen in their roster? Afterwards when we get to see more OL prospects created, they can essentially take over for bots and the Temp O-Linemen?

I'm just throwing ideas out there.

Make a new league job, requiring applicants. Something along the lines of OL HERO/DL HERO. Allows multi-account provided it is OL/DL, any # of applicants, but only X amount will be accepted. 2nd player gets 50% of the TPE earned by first player or something so they don't get OP too fast, but are still better than a bot.

Hey Kyle,
What if at the time of signup you had to declare your primarily Oline or D line and when you play the opposite your capped at a certain level to keep players from becoming these over powered monsters?

I would be totally down for alternate account lineman.

Would ones that are already linemen get another lineman though?

Something like that would be more do-able.

We were also looking into possibly having ways to improve your robot O-Linemen.

Everything's still up for discussion.
