Veterans & New Members - NUCK - 05-29-2017
I have a request to all of you.
Please everyone do your best to engage any new user who may not feel comfortable here yet. We have lots of initially shy or confused members. Offer a helping hand, make them feel welcome.
No new member should go more than a few hours before someone welcomes. Or simply says something on their player page. Start a rivalry, a romance and bromance for all I care.
The reason I say this is because this league is new. Although it looks strong, it is still fragile. We strengthen it with our memberbase!
You new guys are as vital to helping us here as you were to joining us. Do your part to welcome another unsure new member to the site.
We have a mentor group forming, but they can't see everything or be everywhere.

Yeah if you see someone having trouble but don't necessarily have time to help them, refer them to us (rookie mentors). We'll do our best to help.

Of course, I know when I was new to a site like the SHL, the other members are a major reason I initially stuck around.

This occurs during every league, but the key is retaining a grand portion of the new members!
