On behalf of the DSFL General Managers, I'm excited to announce that we are hosting, sponsoring and organizing the S6 NSFL Prospect Bowl (also known as the DSFL Probowl) - featuring all of the hottest rookies from the DSFL this past season for NSFL scouts to watch before the draft on Friday. The Prospect Bowl will occur this Wednesday with live commentary from DSFL GMs.

This announcement will reveal both of the teams competing and introduce the volunteer General Managers to organize and coach both squads. Teams are comprised of players from that conference and volunteer GMs who get a chance to not only coach their own rookie prospects, but also that of their conference rivals.

Without further ado:

Representing the South Conference (aka West Conference) are the ALL PROS.

TIJ ALL PROS ROSTER: SA

QB: Arbin Asipi Jr., Mike Vick, Mantis Toboggan
RB/FB: William Nyquist, Lil Bot, Carter Bush
WR: Grey Slax, Antonio Legion
TE: Clown Baby

DT: Bogdan Wojcik
LB: Elvin Enchant, Brian Mills, Rob Anderson
CB: Storm Woods, Manson Killer

K/P: Forfeit

Their GM is @[run_CMC] from the SA San Antonio Marshals. Run_CMC began the fifth DSFL season as a GM with the Norfolk Seawolves, one of the bot teams in the Eastern Conference. However, following an opening with the Marshals, run_CMC decided to join the organization and has been instrumental in revitalizing the storied DSFL franchise.

At QB, the All Pros have @[DeathOnReddit]'s Arbin Asipi Jr. TIJ, @[MVick]'s Mike Vick SA, and @[incitehysteria] Mantis Toboggan TIJ. Arbin Asipi Jr. is the most experienced of these QBs and we expect coach Ahriman to put a lot of faith into the prospect - although Mike Vick will be given opportunities to come in relief. By and large though, the pass game will live and die on Asipi's arm.

At RB and FB, the All Pros have @[Sleepy] William Nyquist SA, @[loco] Lil Bot TIJ, and @[adam2552] Carter Bush SA. This is a strong line of RBs for Ahriman to slot into what is expected to be a RBC in the backend. With each putting up dominant performances in the DSFL Season 5, expect the All Pros to lean on the ground game.

At WR, the All Pros have @[Jonstradamus] Grey Slax SA and @[Keyg_an] Antonio Legion TIJ. The two WR are both high-level wide receiver prospects after Slax broke 900 yards and 3 TDs, while Legion put up 5 TDs over 700 yards. Although the talent continues to lean towards a run-first offense, having Slax and Legion as options on routes will help Asipi, Vick and Toboggan under pressure.

At TE, the All Pros have @[STZ] Clown Baby TIJ. Clown Baby had 46 receptions for 331 yards with the Tijuana Luchadores, while also being a part of various run and pass blocking schemes.

At DT, the All Pros have @[Squamish] Bogdan Wojcik TIJ. Marking the only significant defensive line talent on the All Pros, Wojcik is going to be tasked with almost single handedly putting pressure on the stud All Stars’ QBs and RBs. With all eyes on him, can he manage to influence the game?

At LB, the All Pros have @[ElvinEnchant] Elvin Enchant TIJ, @[PaytonM34] Brian Mills TIJ, @[Robigo_] Rob Andersen SA. This is where the defensive talent resides for the All Pros. Despite not having any DE talent and only one DT rookie, the talent at LB is scary. The real question is how coach run_CMC will leverage this talent: either putting up pressure or dropping back into coverage, these guys have proven they can do it all.

At CB, the All Pros have @[Sopath] Storm Woods SA and @[money] Manson Killer TIJ.This is some real talent, but they will have their hands quite full. They’ll be facing the likes of Aaron, Storm and Ricecake. This air game battle should have plenty of sparks flying.

At K/P, the All Pros have @[KimJungBigDong] Forfeit TIJ. Forfeit was arguably the best kicker or punter in the DSFL this past season. He’ll be facing head-to-head against McCormick, the other K/P prospect. With some rankings putting Forfeit fairly high, expect him to come out and prove he belongs in the discussions of other top prospects.

DT: Norman Bagwell, Deez Nutts, Gustav Rodriguez
LB: Jack Dwyer
CB: Egan Winter
S: Bobby Ruckus

K/P: Micycle McCormick[/div]

Their GM is @[AzhekAhriman] from the KCC Kansas City Coyotes. After joining the Coyotes in the second half of the DSFL's fifth season, Ahriman has gone on to impress both players and fellow GMs alike with superb gameplanning and several close weeks to close out Kansas City's season.

At QB, the All Stars have @[bovovovo] Borkus Maximus III KCC and @[Leafer] Austin Roenick POR. These are two high-level QB prospects who can both command the field off the draw. Expect to see lots of both prospects as coach Ahriman makes use of this QB depth.

At RB, the All Stars have @[Goretron] Borro Gore POR, @[AzhekAhriman] Robby Rainey KCC, and @[Ross Germo] Ross Germo KCC. Although we can also expect Coach Ahriman to play some form of committee in the backfield, the clear focus here has to remain on Borro Gore who led the DSFL in rushing and reception TDs with 8.

At WR, the All Stars have @[Supersquare04] Dwayne Aaron POR, @[RavensFanFromOntario] Blessed Storm POR, and @[M4TTSA] Jerry Ricecake KCC. This formidable receiving corps will lend to the talents of Maximus III and Roenick off the draw and we expect to see some big numbers put up by top prospect Dwayne Aaron.

At TE, the All Stars have @[speculadora] Poopyface Tomatonose KCC, @[Alfredo_Pasta] Glenn McPoyal, and @[Ace] Tor Tuck. This is a very strong group of TE who can easily play within RPOs and a breadth of offensive schemes. There is significant receiving talent, along with the physicality to defend the rush. Expect the All Stars to leverage this TE mismatch.

At DE, the All Stars have @[LDarke] Vernon Collins POR, @[Drizzy] Cordell Joshua KCC, and @[NYGator15] Wendell Blye KCC. This position is a huge advantage for the All Stars, as all the rookie DE talent ended up in this conference. Expect to see coach Ahriman make use of this defensive line talent to put pressure behind the All Stars line.

At DT, the All Stars have @[bagwell] Norman Bagwell POR, @[AFierceSpoon] Deez Nuts KCC and @[samee] Gustav Rodriguez KCC. Once again so much of the defensive line prospects have ended up on Team All Stars, with only Bogdan Wojcik on the All Pros. Expect to see #1 prospect Bagwell dominate the opponent’s offensive line like he has all season and terrorize Asipi and Vick.

At LB, the All Stars have @[Neckbishop] Jack Dwyer KCC. This is the first category that the All Pros have a significant advantage in. Jack Dwyer is a superb prospect though, but he’ll have to bring his best game this season to make a large impact here.

At CB, the All Stars have @[Egan Winter] Egan Winter KCC. Winter is the sole prospect on the All Stars in CB, and will face the task of shutting down the likes of Slax and Legion. It’ll be a fun matchup to watch.

At S, the All Stars have @[ghostfacethrilla] Bobby Ruckus POR. Ruckus is going to be playing a big role in this prospect bowl - considering the low number of other rookies at defensive back for the All Stars (he’s the 3rd), he’ll be given lots of tough assignments (and opportunities) for the stud prospect to shine.

At K/P, the All Starshave @[infinitempg] Micycle McCormick KCC is going to be the lynchpin of the All Stars, with plenty of opportunities to follow up strong drives with meaningful FG attempts and XP tries. Lets see how McCormick does in comparison to the All Pros’ Forfeit. Should be a great battle of the kickers.

That’s the rosters for Wednesday’s S6 NSFL Prospect Bowl (aka DSFL Pro Bowl). The game will be live streamed and feature full commentary from both GMs as well as Roly and PDXBaller. You can then watch these top prospects be selected in Friday’s NSFL Draft.
