Where's the Fanfare?

I often catch myself wondering, why does it seem as if GM's aren't interested in approaching me about the draft? Part of it is probably because most of them hardly know me or don't know me in the slightest. Here's a few reasons why I should be considered much higher than I am currently being.

1. Experience

Name a sim league from the last 4-5 years and I've probably been in it. Have I been successful in all of them? No, but I know why I wasn't successful in each circumstance and I know when I want to be a success. The NSFL offers me something SSN and USFL offered, but ended up failing to follow-through on. A successful football sim league. I am not only ready to help make it happen, but I want to make my player a legend in the time that the league functions.

2. Drive to Succeed

There's nothing I want more than to be able to be a successful player in sim leagues again. It's been a little while since I have dedicated myself to a sim league, but it is evident I am devoted again based on my position and the activity I've had. Every time that I have applied myself whether it be USFL, SBA, SHL, or SSN, I have been at the top of my class in TPE and I have always been one of the quickest improving players in my Haxball leagues.

3. Weak LB Class

I know that nobody knows how good my player will be because he wasn't in the All-American game, but at the end of the day, this LB class is rather weak. There aren't many proven players (though one could say I'm not proven either), and there are very few options that hold jobs, which provide easy money. I think that with my experience and work ethic, I should be a standout within this LB class. The team with the best play-making defense will probably win the league this season, and I think I am the best option to anchor that down.

4. I'm Here for the Long Haul

Look at my job title, there is very little risk that I am going to leave. I took this job because I want to see a successful football sim league and there is no doubt that I can help with that. I'm not a flight risk, and I am a guarantee to give the league as much effort as I can, especially with this summer based season. There is no reason for a GM to doubt me or even question the direction I am moving in. I want to be the best and will do everything I can do to reach that.

5. I Really Don't Care

As long as I play and we're winning, I really don't care about anything. I'm not in dire need of money, I don't need to be in the forefront of team hype and advertisement, I just need playing time and a team that wants to win as badly as me. Ultimately the team with the most actives from the beginning to Year 3 will probably win a championship or two, so all I can really ask for is being surrounded by a team who wants it. I don't care about any of the hoopla, absolutely none of it.

Ultimately, I don't care where I go, I wrote this article because I feel weird not being one of the ~35 players who have been mocked somewhere or a player that people talk about. Disregard the All-American Game, because Jaylon Lee is here to impact the league in a big way.

Love the drive and love the attitude. Teams should definitely stop sleeping on you.

Your player in the SHL, at least the one I played with, had a bright future, and I'm fully confident that you can finish the job and make a truly successful player here!

Good luck bro

yes, we are both experienced, but you're in a numberless class whereas I'm in the upper echelon of a thick one, you're trending and are going ham, I'm just committed and don't care

If I didn't write an article or like this every time I made a player, I might agree
