*The S6 Portland Pythons - Toasty - 03-27-2018

[div align=\\\"center\\\"]Week 4: Portland Pythons 23 @ Norfolk Seawolves 17[/div]

To start the game the Pythons received the ball first and they drove down the field and the drive was capped off by 5 yard touchdown run by Borro Gore. Then the Seawolves got the ball and drove down the down the field and the defense stood them up and they where forced to send out David Marcillo to kick a 46 yard field goal, that was good. After a series of punts, the Pythons' QB Jameis Christ got tackled in the endzone for a safety, then 28 seconds later the Seawolves' kicker kicked a 44 yard field goal through the uprights. Then, right before the two minute warning, Pythons' kicker, Stephon Simpson kicked the Pythons into the lead with a 24 yard field goal. Then after the 3rd quarter, the Seawolves' kicker kicked a nice and short field goal of 20 yards to put them over the Pythons. After throwing 2 picks, he'll have 4 in total, Carson Palmer of the Seawolves lobbed a 15 yard touchdown pass to Chad Johnson, but then David Marcillo missed the extra point. Then 8 minutes later, near the end of the 4th quarter, Mark Grau catch his first regular season touchdown pass. It was a nice 3 yard pass from Jameis Christ. Then in overtime the Pythons turned to John Goose and he galloped a 45 yard run to the keep the Pythons undefeated for now. Even with a 45 yard touchdown run by John Goose did not win him OPOG. That was rewarded to Borro Gore, a runningback on the Pythons, with 24 attempts for 110 yards and a Touchdown. The Defensive Player of the Game was Hingle Mcringleberry, Linebacker off of the Pythons, with 7 Tackles and 3 Interceptions.

[div align=\\\"center\\\"]Week 5: Portland Pythons 3 @ Tijuana Luchadores 23[/div]

The Pythons first lost, and it was bad. Just a quick stat, 10 penalties for 103 yards! It started out with a series of punts back and forth until Stephon Simpson would kick the Pythons only points. It was a 37 yard field goal for the young kicker. Then the Luchadores drove down the field and kicked a 46 yard field goal to tie the game. In the 2nd quarter, after a series of punts the pythons got the ball back and right away Jameis Christ turned the ball over to the Luchadores while trying to thread the needle to the Tight End Palamento. Rott a Full Safety for the Luchadores returned it for 23 yards. That pick lead to a 27 yard field goal by the Luchadores. Then after the half the first touchdown was a Penner to Moss 4 yard pass. that put them up by 10. Then towards the end of the game Penner found Moss again this time for an 11 yard pass. And with 1:36 left the Pythons could not get back into the game and got their first lost of the season. For the first time in forever one of the Pythons runningbacks didn't get Offensive Player of the Game, this time it was rewarded to Sydney Spinelli, a runningback for the Luchadores, 23 attempts for 105 yards and no Touchdowns. Defensive Player of the Game was given to Travis Poyer, Defensive Tackle for the Pythons who had 3 Tackles and a pair of Sacks.

[div align=\\\"center\\\"]Week 6: Norfolk Seawolves 10 @ Portland Pythons 31[/div]

The Norfolk Seawolves got the ball first and they were the first to score. Kyle Davis caught a 6 yard touchdown pass from Carson Palmer. Then Borro Gore answered back with a 71 yard touchdown run to tie the game. Then the Seawolves kicked a 46 yard field goal right at the start of the 2nd quarter. Then after a pair of punts the Pythons went on a drive and it was capped off by a 3 yard touchdown pass from Jameis Christ to the young shot Grau. Then at the beginning of the 3rd quarter Shawn Ariel had a 96 yard kick return for a touchdown. This was Ariel's first kickoff return for a touchdown. Then after a pair of punts by the Pythons Quarterback Jameis Christ found Wide Receiver Mark Grau for a 17 yard touchdown pass. Then the Seawolves got the ball drove to the 24 yard line and then got an illegal shift and then the Seawolves Receivers dropped 2 passes and they were forced to send out kicker David Marcillo who missed the 43 yard field goal. Then on third and 30 the Pythons decided to be safe and threw a 9 yard pass to the Tight End Palamento which put Kicker Stephon Simpson in field goal range and he stayed perfect with a 46 yard field goal. Then it was a nie 22 yard pass from Carson Palmer to Chad Johnson that set up Kicker David Marcillo with a 29 yard field goal that was... NO GOOD! Then after two punts by the Pythons and a turnover on downs by the Seawolves the game ended with a nice 19 yard from Palmer to McKnight but there was not enough time left. Borro Gore got Offensive Player of the Game with 15 attempts for 117 yards and a Touchdown. Francisco Gonzalez, a linebacker for the Seawolves, got Defensive Player of the Game with 9 tackles an a sack.

[div align=\\\"center\\\"]Week 7: Portland Pythons 7 @ Kansas City Coyotes 29[/div]

The Coyotes were the first to sore and it was a beautiful 16 yard run by Quarterback Mark Strike, but when they sent out Kicker Joel Kallems the extra point was no good. Then the Pythons had an three and out an then the Coyotes drove the ball down the field to the 1 yard line were the Pythons struggling defense stopped them and the Coyotes Kicker had to kick a 18 yard field goal. Then the Pythons stopped the Coyotes with the help of a tripping penalty on Numero. Then in the second quarter the Coyotes found their grove again, Wide Receiver Buck Charles caught an 8 yard touchdown pass from Mark Strike. Then the Pythons started to drive the ball it started with a 32 yard pass from Christ to Smith, then 4 big runs, and finished off with a 2 yard run by Borro Gore. After the half it was all Coyotes,it started with a 42 yard field goal, then a 9 yard touchdown pass from Mark Strike to DeAndre Green. Then in the forth quarter the Coyotes got another field goal this time a 29 yarder. Coyotes quarterback, Mark Strike, got Offensive Player of the Game with 25 of his 38 pass completed for 260 yards and a touchdown. Along with 15 rushing attempts for 114 yards and a touchdown. Coyotes linebacker, Ryan LeFevre, got Defensive Player of the Game with 7 Tackles and a Sack.

After three punts it seamed like it was a miracle that any team was going to score and score did the Pythons. It was set up by 4 big passes and a big run by Borro Gore, and was finished off with a 1 yard touchdown pass from Cole McCoy to Mark Grau. Then that got the game's juices pumping because early in the 2nd quarter Sam Penner riffled a 4 yard touchdown pass to Many Ross. Then half way through the 2nd quarter Jameis Christ found Nash Teller with a nice 4 yard touchdown pass. The Pythons weren't done just yet because with a little under 30 seconds left on the clock Stephon Simpson kicked a 18 yard field goal. Then in the middle of the 3rd quarter Stephon kicked another 18 yard field goal to make it 20 to 7 and on the next drive the Luchadores came back and kicked a a 46 yard field goal was good. Then on the next drive Stephon Simpson not to be out done kicked a 49 yard field goal that was good. Zach Muntez broke off a 6 yard touchdown run for the Luchadores. Pythons’ Kicker Stephon Simpson was not done for the night. He kicked a 38 yard field goal to help seal the Pythons win. After a Luchadores punt Shawn Ariel started to break off a decent run and then fumbled the ball and then Linebacker Brian Mills 2 scooped it up and returned it for 12 yards. Buy Pythons defense being lead by Phillip Wegner stopped the Luchadores and forced them turn the ball over on downs. Kicker Stephon Simpson was not done for the night. He kicked a 38 yard field goal to help seal the Pythons win. Pythons runningback Borro Gore got Offensive Player of the Game with 21 attempts for 111 yards and a reception for 13 yards. Luchadores Linebacker Brian Mills 2 got Defensive Player of the Game with 10 Tackles, a Sack, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery.

Week 9: Portland Pythons [/SIZE] 9 @ Palm Beach Solar Bears 26
The Pythons could tell right off the start that it was going to be a bad day. They received the ball first Ariel ran it for 8, but than the game went to shit. Cole McCoy was sacked then a Delay of game penalty, and then another sack. After that horrific start they punted it and then the Bears drove it down the field and it ended with a 18 yard field goal by Solar Bears kicker Kevin Butler. Then right before the end of the first quarter Steve Fuller ran the ball for a 3 yard touchdown, but the Solar Bears’ kicker Kevin Butler missed the extra point. Then in the second quarter it was all Pythons with Stephon Simpson getting a 24 yard field goal half way through the second quarter and then right before the two minute warning he hit it out from 37 yards. Then in the 3rd quarter it was once again Stephon Simpson getting the points for the Pythons, this time with a 44 yard field goal. Then the Solar Bears kicked it in to high gear because at the beggining of the 4th quarter Kevin Butler kicked a 25 yard field goal. Then the Pythons behind once again ended up punting the ball. Then Dennis McKinnon caught a 4 yard touchdown pass from Steve Fuller. Then Cole McCoy tried threading the needle to Nash Teller and was picked off by Mike Richardson who returned it for an 8 yard pick six. Steve Fuller got Offensive Player of the Game with 21 of his 30 passes completed for 216 yard and a touchdown. He also had a rushing touchdown. Mike Richardson got Defensive Player of the Game with 5 tackles and an interception that he return for a touchdown.

This was one of the most unexciting games ever. There was no scoring in the first quarter, but there were, 3 plays of +10 yards, 2 sacks, 3 penalties, and 5 punts. In the early second quarter Shawn Ariel broke off a run of 8 yards and got the Pythons up to seven zip. Then Kevin Butler tried a 56 yard field goal that was no good. Then early in the thrid quarter Borro Gore broke off a run of 6 and then fumbled the in the redzone and gave it to the Solar Bears. Then at the end of the third quarter Jameis Christ tried to touch the ball to Mark Grau and got intercepted by Frazer in the redzone and he returned it for 13 yards. Then early in the forth quarter Kevin Butler made good on a 31 yard field goal. Nash Teller was named Offensive Player of the Game with 8 receptions for 88 yards and no interceptions. Phillpp Wegner got Defensive Player of the Game with 8 tackles and a pair sacks.

The Pythons got the ball to start the game and on 2nd down they knew this was not going to be their day when Quaterback Jameis Christ tried to get Mark Grau the ball and through it to Conerback Leslie Frazer, Then the Polar Bears Kicker missed the 29 yard field goal. Then after a punt by the Solar Bears the Pythons Kicker made good with his field goal of 38 yards. Then Ottokar Von Gerhardt got a strip sack on McManhon and then Jameis Christ got the ball to Mark Grau for a 7 yard touchdown pass. Then Shawn Ariel got stuffed at the line by Hampton and got the ball stripped. Then Dennis McKinnion caught a 14 yard pass from Steve Fuller. Then Jameis Christ messed in field goal range when he tried to get the ball to J. Smith and ened up throwing it to Leslie Frazer again and he returned it for 12 yards. Then Kevin Butler was able to capitolize off of that and kick a 39 yard field goal. After a series of punts the Pythons started to drive the ball and ran out of time and had to go into over time. Then it was Matt Sanders time to shine when he ran the ball into the touchdown for a esay touchdown. Offensive Player of the Game was MarkGrau with 6 receptions for 71 yards and a touchdown. Defensive Player of the Game was Conerback Leslie Frazier with 5 tackles and a pair of interceptions.

The first real action was in the middle of the 1st quarter was when Mark Strike threaded the needle to Safety William Harrison and then Cole McCoy threaded the needle to Conerback Miles. Then at the end of the 1st half Borro Gore broke a run of 24 yards against the great and recently retired Brad Pennington. Then Mark Strike threaded the needle again to William Harrison who had no return. Then after a Pythons punt Joel Kallems kicked a 38 yard field goal. Then right before the two minutes warning Stephon Simpson kicked a 28 yard field goal. Then after three punts Stephon had enough time to kicked another field goal this time a season long of 53 yards. Then McCoy got the ball to MarkGrau and then D’Attoria was able to knock the ball lose and dove on the ball. Then after a couple punts Mark Strike scrambled for an 18 yard Touchdown. Then after three punts Joel Kallems was out once again kicking a 43 yard field goal. Then it was all Pythons starting with an 18 yard pass from Cole to Nash Teller.Then right before the game ended Cole found stud runningback Borro Gore a 20 touchdown pass. Offensive Player of The Game surprised me! Mark Strike with 20 of 39 completed and208 yards with a pair of picks and 15 rushes for 82 yards and a touchdown. Defensive Player of the Game is Brad Pennignton with 11 tackles and a pair of sacks.

The game started out with 3 punts, and then the Marshals were able to capitalize and got a nice 37 yard field goal by Jimmy Darkapple. Then after yet another Pythons punt they star to drive the ball and get stopped on third and they send out Jimmy Darkappleand he attempts another field goal and misses it from 44 yards out. That is whe the Pythons’ Offense decided to show up 6 completions in a row by Cole McCoy Borro Gore was able to get a 2 yard rushing touchdown. Then Micheal Vick tried threding the needle to Alivin Chipmunk and Zed Richter was able to get the pick but did not go anywhere and after that the Pythons sent out kicker Stephon Simpson who missed from 51 yard field goal. Then the Marshals got the ball back at the start of the second half and they drove down the field and sent out kicker Darkapple and this was Zed Richter’s day because he blocked the 47 yard field goal. Then McCoy found Mark Grau in the Back of the endzone with a 25 yard touchdown pass. Then the Marshals punted the ball again then Stephon Simpson made sure to make this field goal from 29 yards out. Runningback Shawn Ariel got Offensive player of the Game with 22 attempts for 107 yards. Rickey Ramero got Defensive Player of the Game with 7 tackles and a sack.

Appleshort liturally threw the game away. His first pick was in the 1st quarter when he tried to get the ball to Sean and found William Harrison, but then Cole McCoy found Fyodorovich who returned it for 38 yards then Applehort found Winter who returned it 50 yards. Then Shan Arie ran it 2 yard for a touchdown. Then Nathan Parker BLOCKED a punt that lead to a field goal of 26 yard by Stephon Simpson. Then Applehort fresh out of the halftime lecture tried to get Alvin Chipmunk and found linebacker Mason Brown who returned it 7 yards. That lead to a 2 yard pass from McCoy to Mark Grau. Then after a punt Stephon SImpson got a field goal from 30 yards out. Then the Marshals subbed in Vick and he found Catcherman for a 8 yard touchdown. Then Shawn Ariel ran it 2 yards and fumbled and gave the ball to the defense. The Offensive Player of the Game was Shawn Ariel with 23 attempts for 102 yards and a touchdown. Higle Mcringleberry got Defensive Player of the Game with 10 tackles and a pair of sacks.
