(S9) - Weekend PT 3 - Pets - Oles - 07-27-2018
Requirements
Written: Must Include 150 Words. Write about your favorite pet. Whether it's a childhood dog that grew up with you, a snake you've loved or any other animal, write about what made the animal special.
Graphic: Make a graphic showing the pet of choice. Include your render and an animal of some sort.

The Oles family always had dogs growing up. When Tyler and Kazimir were young their grandmother got a border collie puppy for their mom. The border collie would constantly be found running and playing with the kids as they were growing up, and it was just as much of a family member as anyone else in the house. This border collie would always be down to do anything, despite growing older she would constantly be running around hyper as can be, border collies are working dogs so it’s normal for them to be like that. Her favorite thing was water, it was tough to keep her away especially with the pool in the backyard, she would always bolt right for water. She even got loose once and bolted to the park down the street, which had a creek that she loved, and she would always run to it and jump in no matter what, if she was in that park she knew where she was running to. Mat Akselsen owned the greatest pet of all time, a Great Dane. Dude was lazy as fuck but damn was he a good companion.
As with most dogs he likes to run around and play in the mud and water. Big cleanup especially with a huge dog like that. Imagine hosing off that mammoth of a creature.
Anyway, as the greatest dog in all the land he would lounge on the couch, sleep with droopy eyes and eat. In fact, he was quite the useless dog. Other than love he never gave anything back to the family. One time he tried to give back by howling in the middle of the night. The whole family woke up and turned on the porch lights to see a family of skunks walking across the yard.
He died a few years back, and the family buried him in the backyard of their home in Minnesota. It was a thought time for the Akselsens but they’ll never forget that dog.

Growing up in the West of Ireland, Lavelle didn't get his first pet till about 11/12 and it was in the form of two turtles. One male and one female, the female one was pretty fuckin gigantic and really it was an overall cunt which never stopped biting the male one's tail. This more often than not led to the male one scurrying off the big rock and flying into the tank of water while the female cunt lounged about on the big rock. 12 year old Dermot tried his best to rectify the situation by whenever he had the chance, moving the female into the water and making sure the male one was on the big rock but more often than not he would get jealous that the other one was in the water, the more I think about it he was probably just a fuckin idiot to be honest.
Yeah so mainly the reason they were special were mainly because they were pretty much my first pets before I got a shitload of cats.

Spector is a cat lover. He's a dog lover. He's a rabbit lover. He loves all animals. Except horses. They're soulless monsters. But this isn't about horses. This is about Spector's pets. Growing up, he had several cats. They were also his mother's cats but that's besides the point. One cat in particular, he was named Cheerio, holds a special place in Marc's heart. Cheerio was a kitten when Marc was born. So growing up, Marc always had Cheerio around. When Marc was 11, Cheerio got sick. Feline Leukemia. He'd never experienced death first hand, or terminal illness. Cheerio was a family member, not just a four legged resident of the house, but a cherished member of his household. So, seeing him suffering, weak and not his usual chipper meowing self, Marc felt a new feeling he'd never felt before, and did not understand. Despair. But throughout Cheerio's illness, as he laid by a heater, swaddled in a blanket, whenever Marc was next to him, he'd see Cheerio try to perk up, happy that his friend was there. Marc spent 3 days, consoling and just being with his feline friend. On the 4th day, Marc's mother picked up Cheerio and they went to the veterinarian's clinic and they put Cheerio down. They buried Cheerio in their back yard, and Marc learned a valuable lesson from Cheerio. Life is precious, and to value your loved ones while you have them.

An animal that mostly peaks Devo's interests is usually Fennec foxes. Why? Well, it's due to the fact that growing up, Devo always had an interest in certain animals that were either impossible to make as a pet or animals that wouldn't be suitable for a boy his age. Still wouldn't stop him from choosing an animal to be his favorite, and the animal he just so chose was a Fennec Fox mostly because foxes were an animal group that he enjoyed so when it came down to choosing a type of fox he obviously went for the one with the most fluffy textured looking one that has a cute small face. To this day while it's just a thought in back his mind, Cansino still says "maybe someday I'll have a fox to call my own." but until that day comes for him, now it just stays as it once was before... Just a thought in the mind.
