The timing of it is a little unbelievable. All I can say is that we really were just trading for an inactive and when he came back my knee jerk reaction was actually that we got bamboozled and he was going to play one season and then go back to Yeti in FA. But then he actually showed real excitement to be in our LR and asked us to PM him to negotiate an extension and the rest is history. I honestly think he's just excited to play the game again and is willing to give whatever team he happened to be on a shot.
Also, Yeti approached us with the offer of Ramero. Not the other way around.
For what it's worth, I didn't think OC was the party to blame. My call out was to @Ramero, who appeared to go inactive because he wasn't on a great team (though one that had promise until he went IA) then suddenly found a love for the game the moment he was traded to a contender.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not thrilled to see a consistently good team and conference rival hit the jackpot like this, but I don't think this was some scheme on your team's part. My jealousy and mild resentment goes to your team (nothing new, really), but my anger was toward Ramero.
All that said, posts from infinite about Ramero saying he would come back definitely change my opinion.
Although, since we have the makings of a conspiracy anyways, I hereby accuse @Jiggly_333 of intentionally starting the Wonderdome in a ploy to get Ramero tagged, returning him to the site post-trade.
